This storage unit on Bridge street in Yorkville is a joke. I've had my unit since last Friday. I tried several times to get into the gates, I have tried several times to use the code I was given, and the gate will not open. I have also used the temporary code they have given me, and the gate will not open. I haven't been able to use my unit at all since I got it Friday. They need to fix that damn gate. This is not customer satisfaction. I've had two locations with the same problem where the gate does not work. I am having a very difficult time working with these people to cancel out my storage units and get a refund back. I've also have a unit over on Wolf street and that did the same thing too where the gate did not open with the code I haven't used any of my units.

Moved in months ago to assigned 10x10 unit. Management changed unit number. Now being charged for much larger 10x25 unit while still in small init. Very poor management and customer service. They have called and text me several times for a problem that it not my issue. I moved into 530 and they say I’m in 531 to which on paper, they have not moved me. Clearly, in this photo, there was no 528 and I moved into where they told me and now it’s becoming my problem

The good: -Right down the street from the house we were moving to.-I had 5 units (yes, should have sold more of our stuff before moving) and they were all in good shape, clean and maintained.-easy to get in.The Bad:-If you do anything there at night, bring a spotlight. None of the lights are on and they do not care when you bring it up. Like ever care about anything.-If I can call and get a unit in 5 minutes, I should be able to do the same when leaving. They will run you around like "you needed to make a move out day!" Were they going to help me move? No.-They knew all my units yet when I would add another one, they make you send in your insurance information again and again, even though it covers everything. You must carry insurance whether you like it or not. They will charge you $10 a month extra if you do not have it. What if I am not so worried about what is in there? Forced to get more money out of you in my opinion.-I have been out of there for three weeks now and they keep trying to charge me. I am getting hammered daily with text messages and emails telling me I am late paying and the messages are talking about late fees. They tell me on the phone that the manager needs to go in and inspect the units to say they are cleared, then this will go away. Then hire a new manager because he is not doing his job.I am now to the point of packaging up all their texts, emails and other spam info to take to someone like the state's attorney so they can see how they are trying to scam me for more money. I would avoid these scammers like the plague.

The facility lights do not come on at night, so the entire facility is dark at night. No keypad to exit the facility. I live nearby, got in, but couldn't get out. Had to hop the fence. There are a few vehicles bring stored that are in bad shape, leaking fluids, flat tires, torn covers. I don't know if there are standards for liability etc. Otherwise a nice, quiet storage facility.

Horrible place. Gate code doesn’t even work after 1 week and half and then you have to wait 30 minutes to get a hold of customer service and they give you a temporary to get in and once inside the gate doesn’t even open back up to leave . The machine they say to use doesn’t even work. Horrible company and they take your money even when they haven’t provided any service of using storage unit .

Would give it zero stars if I could at this point!! Same as other reviews below- pulled up to facility with a full load and rented a unit at the on site kiosk. Monthly unit is about $200 once everything is totaled. Got my access code and entered it…ONLY FOR IT TO NOT WORK! Charged my card right away though.Here it is 8pm at night. No one on site. 800 number is closed. Definitely will be calling in the morning! Not a great experience at all!

The process of renting online was easy and fast. I received a gate code immediately, but then I found out it takes 24 hours before it works. Luckily there was a number to call and I was given a temporary code. This should be better explained during the rental process. The unit was clean and easy to find.

The rent is getting increased every single year. Effective Sept 2022 the rent goes up 20.00 more. Same size unit in other storage facilities around yorkville is under 100.00 a month. Way overpriced will be moving out soon.

It’s been a week and my gate code does not work. I called two days after I setup my account and the rep told me that my code was not going to be active for up to 72 hours. Yet I was charged 3 seconds after I clicked to purchase. I gave it time and came back a week later and my code still does not work. I called but customer service was closed. I texted the number to assist with a code not working and got a reply saying my phone number was not recognized with any account. Yet I have still been charged.
