I thought Planet Fitness is a place that is non judgemental. Well let me tell me , I left the gym one day and could hear one staff member including Mason making fun of a women ahead of me leaving. I also wanted to add that Mason is not really a friendly person. I joined a class just to be canceled then I rebooked it, only to find out I felt like I was a bothering him. I figured since he is a personal trainer , that he connects well with people. The Second class He wouldn't even talk to me! Super disappointed. Please find people that want to run this location properly. I'm looking for a new Gym . The things is I really like the location and gym itself. It's just the staff is not friendly. Only a lady with short blond hair is kind and says goodbye to members.

Love coming to this planet fitness it’s so conveniently close to home since I come here twice a day 6 days a week. The new staff is very nice and keep it clean. BUT the fact that machines are always broken and takes them weeks before they repair them is really making me consider switching gyms. My favorite cable machine has been broken for a month and I asked the staff and they have no clue when it will get fixed. The fact that they have one maintenance guy to fix these is ridiculous. I’ve talked to other members and I know I am not the only one that is frustrated with the time it takes them to fix machines.

This gym gets the job done. I do feel it could be cleaner in the bathrooms and on the various machines though.

It’s a good and hospitable environment: a clean gym, employees are nice but there is clearly a management problem. There is no assistant manager, so who is the general manager? This place is obviously not organized- corporate needs to come in and clean house. Good gym and great employees, but management is poor.

I'm driving truck all over the country and able to compare.. This club is big in size, very clean, no problems with the stuff...

Lots of equipment broken, rude managers, I asked about a timeline and was told "the world os short staffed" while getting an eye roll. I generally don't leave reviews, but time to try a new gym. This is just pathetic, this place keeps getting worse.

This place is so unprofessional! I think the little young buck just left and there is nobody at the front desk to turn the massage bed on this is just bad business

I cancelled my membership because it’s dirty and sometimes they forget to open! Employees stand around talking. Paper towels are empty most of the time. So many nicer gyms out there. I’d rather pay more.

Yorkville has Horrible management! The gym is closed at 8:30am Saturday morning 7/27/24.
There are often broken machines that go unrepaired for weeks and weeks.

It's a gym.......
But I will complain about equipment being broken for long periods of time and more then half the treadmills skip while running on them which is VERY ANNOYING!!
Not a bad place at all to be for the price! Not a bad review either, just speaking my experience.

I just joined this gym and am beginning to regret it. This is the 2nd time I’ve come in around 830am on a Saturday (2.5 hrs after the time it says they open right on the door) and the gym is totally locked and empty with no one answering the phone. This seems very unprofessional and is also quite frustrating to not even be able to work out during advertised times!
