I have always loved this place & have been going there for many years! I will always be a loyal shopper! The deals are amazing and it's for a proven good cause. You can go in at 50% deal days, and save ton! It's a bit pricier than some of the junkier thrift store but it's much better quality items/high end. Ironically, some of the negative posts below reminded me that I haven't been there in a while and I should get their ASAP. It did the exact opposite of what these people were trying to achieve lol! Right before they close, they do warn people. These people are not paid, they volunteer their time! They work from the goodness of their hearts. Everyone there is friendly to me. That lady that might have been disrespectful in that other person's comment could have been someone that was abused herself perhaps, just guessing. I've always seen friendliness there but in the past people have been disrespectful and lingering around there after hours, so keep in mind these are unpaid volunteers. Also some of the people that were upset about the High-priced items.. well just go on the 50% off days. Or don't go at all and leave all the good stuff for us, lol. I bought this awesome Guess dress, Paris perfume, and bracelet pictured below, very affordably. Brand new Victoria Secrets panties with the jewels on the sides & bras for practical nothing ($4 brand new w/tags) You can't get that at other thrift stores. I know my purchases are going to abused women and children for resources such as shelter and counseling . I'm very proud to support this in the community and I'll keep promoting it. There were a lot of people in there today. I will also continue to donate my clothes too. I love to shop there, and highly recommend!

I was thrilled to find out that there’s a thrift store at the end of my block, I go Thrifting every single day and I’ve gone to every store in the area you can imagine. This is by far the worst one that there is. This business is predatory and is hiding behind domestic violence in order to do so. All you need to do is look at the prices for items, to realize this is not a thrift store. This is a high-end boutique, getting government tax brakes due to its 501 C3 It clearly does not deserve. It tricks old women into volunteering their time, and items they are donated and put them in Exorbitantly high prices. I had an incident and requested the managers name, she refused to give it. I thought thrift stores were to help people who are in need you know for people of lower income to go in and buy things that they couldn’t purchase at target or Walmart? This place is charging, seven dollars for an item sold at the same store next-door dollar tree and that’s not an exaggeration. I’m not just an angry person making things up go in for yourself and look at the prices in this place. This is the definition of a wolf and sheep clothing do not shop neat repeats . They are absolutely swindling old people and their families out of their belongings in times of crisis, trying to use their They’re domestic abuse under the guise of helping people, but really all they’re doing is helping line their own pockets. Please check out what I’m saying. Don’t just take my word for it. And then once you see that I’m telling the truth leave there and never shop there again and tell your families.

I love going to thrift stores and was thrilled to find this one basically at the end of my street. I’ve been there a handful of times and I was always shocked to see the way some of their items were priced — more like a boutique, and less like a second-hand shop or thrift store. But I still would go on their 50% off store wide days from time to time; but the last two times that I went, I arrived when the store was closing in about 15 minutes (due to my work schedule). I couldn’t believe it when someone (who I assume to be the manager) came up to me to ask “if [I] was done yet, because [she] wanted to close the store,” even when there was 12 minutes left until closing. She said the same thing to 3 other customers that I personally overheard. She did it with so much condescension in her voice too, and she asked me this multiple times while I was there — almost like she was badgering me & other paying customers. I can’t believe anyone who helps run a business would actually say this to customers! I was literally stunned. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, though, and decided to go again with my boyfriend several weeks later. I could hardly hide my disgust when this same worker did this same thing AGAIN! This time she asked if we could “hurry it up because the store closes soon.” Yeah, you guys close in 8 minutes. I get it, and I’ll leave before you close — but seriously, what paid employee says this to customers? And I know she was a paid employee because she told us that the she “only has the volunteers until 5pm and wanted them to do other things besides have to check us out.” WHO SAYS THIS TO CUSTOMERS WITH CASH IN HAND?! I would absolutely fire anyone who treated multiple paying customers like this, multiple times! Never have I encountered anything like this in my entire life! These experiences + the price gouging on items that get donated are the reason for my low review. Skip this place and go somewhere you’re wanted as a customer, and where they don’t Google image search every donation and assume the highest price they see is the actual value of an item.

I appreciate that this store and these volunteers are raising funds for a good cause. However, it’s not necessary to talk to adults disrespectfully, as if they are bad children. Another review mentions this, as well.

They are scammers. They sell fake Burberry perfumes. Fake Louis Vuitton bags. For full price. They are scamming older people with their fake products and refuse returns.

This store sold a fake / replica bag to my older family member for $150. The cashier confirmed it was real, yet it was very obvious that it was not (receipts were on plain copy paper, some in Chinese, and the bag had two different brands on it). Once I found out about this, I was furious and tried to get it returned the same day. They refused to do a refund despite it being illegal to sell replicas. It does not matter whether they knew it was real or not, it is still illegal for them to sell. It was upsetting that they would sell items like this to unsuspecting customers, especially older customers that are usually targeted for scams. The exact response I got from the assistant manager was that “they sell replicas all the time, no one had issues with it before”. This does not excuse that it is against the law. I had to file a police report when this could have been solved with a simple refund. Long story short, this store does not take accountability and I would never recommend it to anyone.

I’ve been shopping at Neat Repeat for about 15 years. The original store was across the street in a little store. My family and I love the store. Almost all the workers are ver nice. My only problem is with one Lucia she has a bad attitude and acts as though she’s a manager at a Luxury store. No Lucia it’s not Nordstrom. When she’s working I leave the store. She’s very rude. And tells people an hour before store closes. We will be closing in an hour. Really I think we are all adults and can tell time.!

I frequent the store often. It is staffed by all volunteers who are very helpful. I usually find something nice to purchase and I love their sales. However there are some items that are outrageously priced like dirty shoes for $60 for example. Namebrand or not this is a thrift store. I think the thing I would like noted most is when you shop near closing time, the volunteers get very antsy with you and almost pushy, reminding you of what time it is, concerned that you will be in the store one minute after closing. It comes across very rude and more concerned about closing, then making a final sale which would benefit their mission. They already close an hour before I would think they would at 4:00 so maybe they need to close at 3:30 and allow final shoppers to take their time.

I used to shop here a few years ago & the store used to have good deals. I live on the northwest side of Chicago so it's quite a drive for us. When I came to visit this store again I expected the prices to go up a bit but not that much! I was informed by the nice lady who was sitting up front that there was 50% off of all tops. But the prices were so high to begin with! Keep in mind the clothes & every thing else are used. It is not worth spending $ here. I went around the whole store at least 2 times & had a hard time finding any kind of reasonable deals. Even the kids clothes were sky high in price! I did manage to find to scarves that were reduced to $1 each. Big deal! I found 1 sweater for $5. I can find brand new sweaters reduced at other stores such as Ross & Wal-mart etc. for that price! When I asked a lady at the counter do you have the $1 rack anymore? I was told when they have to have something to put on it! I thought to myself lady the store is packed with mostly tops! And they can't find anything to put on a $1 only rack?? Please! I know the sales go for a good cause. But still why rip good customers off? The store was packed with tops. Many items were so over priced! Such as $40 for a top! I don't care if it is a brand name top or designer top! It is used!! Also many of the clothes had stains on them! For a Saturday there was hardly anyone in the store. I gave the store a shot & took my time. Only 1 lady bought 1 thing while I was there. They also watch you like crazy! Don't waste your time or $. I bought 2 scarves & 1 sweater & will never waste my $$ or time there again. It is so sad to see that thrift stores are becoming a dying thing. Make the trip if you can to Nifty Thrifty in Kenosha. They also benefit abused women. They have better quality of items & better sales. I am sorry I wasted my time & my $ on this store.
