When the new owner of the Woodstock Dollar thrift took over, it was so exciting to see the transformation of the store and the prices still being the same--just couldn't stay away. Unfortunately, I will be staying away as greed has taken over with prices now ridiculously high on a lot of items. Just a little note sir, greed is never a good thing; it will destroy you and most likely your business. Also, the big dude you have working for you is extremely rude. Good luck.

Have been in Woodstock for about almost two years. Always saw the store but could never convince my kids dad to take me. Well he finally did and we weren't disappointed at all! Small friendly atmosphere. The dude who was working was super chilled. There's a lot to find there if you have the patience. It's cute and they have a decent variety of items. Even pet items.

This shop was unorganized and very hard to navigate. The line to check out was long. The prices are very reasonable at least, and I liked the book selection.

I have been shopping here for years and never fail to find something awesome! A few days ago I purchased a working tv for $1.25…ONE DOLLAR AND TWENTY-FIVE CENTS FOR A TV! They rearranged the store so it’s much easier to navigate. I will continue to shop and donate here

Always a great experience! The owner is so kind and remembers familiar faces. The employees are always kind as well, always working hard. The shop itself has transformed so much in the past few years, the quality of the clothing, the layout of the store, organization, cleanliness. I am so impressed and happy for Woodstock community thrift, they make it so I can afford to buy clothes for myself and my kids and stay within budget. They also carry so many other items besides clothing, so many deals to find. Truly a gem of woodstock! (:

The most pleasant people and the most excellent merchandise! I have been come in here at least once a month for the past 8 months and I love it! Probably the best thrift store I've ever had experience dealing with!

I tried to donate a really nice LOL Dollhouse yesterday that retails for over $200 new. It was still in good condition and as far as I knew had all the pieces that it originally came with. The owner walked up to me and said he didn’t need any toys at this time (which is fine), but then he said “No one is going to buy that!” Mind you, he sells items for $1.25 each. I was appalled by what he said. I think a Mom or Dad would be thrilled to score a dollhouse like the one I was donating, especially for $1.25! He was just downright rude and really needs to work on his people skills. After this horrible experience, I drove over to Savers and I didn’t even have to get out of my car! I popped my trunk and some guys unloaded it for me and even gave me a coupon for my next visit. Totally different experience! I will not be returning to donate, or shop at Dollar Thrift again after the encounter I had with the owner.

The new owner is stealing everyone's donations and ....Stealing items from a donation bin in Illinois is considered a class 3 felony he loadsup his car every night with donations that fortunate people are able to donate to the less fortunate And takes them home. He is a greedy pathetic evil person. It's actually disgusting what he has turned this business into.Shame on you and I hope that the good lord punches you for stealing from less fortunate people

New guy owner is soo nice such a sweetheart, the store is completely revamped. Ty for the awesome deal I scored today, something so little meant so much me, just gained a loyal customer primarily because we just payed out alot on money for coins for my husband's cancer treatments. The "scrubs" meant alot We hope God continues to bless you and your new store. ♡
