My dog loves attending Good Dog Academy. She can't wait to get out of the car and in to see her friends. This has been such a positive experience for my Millie.

The Good Dog Academy is the best Daycare and the only Daycare I would trust to take my dog to. Your pet will be treated like family and will get the best experience ever. Very professional and caring people. I highly recommend The Good Dog Academy to anyone looking for the best for their dog!

Marti and Hector are simply the BEST!!! So knowledgeable, so helpful in answering any questions I’ve had. I have never felt worried about leaving my dog at the GDA, for 10 hours a day, multiple times a week. Anyone looking or possibly thinking about taking their dog to daycare.....THE GOOD DOG ACADEMY IS THE ONLY PLACE TO GO!!! Hands down, simply the best!!!♥️

Our family recently adopted a very sweet 2-year-old dog who needed basic obedience training. We live in Georgia, but based on the recommendation of a family member who lives in Illinois and is familiar with Good Dog Academy, we called Marti and she was able to provide us with coaching, guidance, and support in a variety of ways. In addition to basic training techniques, our phone consultations covered diet and nutrition, play and exercise, dog park etiquette, and grooming tips. Marti also recommended several videos and books that were especially helpful. In the past, we''ve taken dogs to training classes locally, but we've never received the level of personal service tailored to our dog's specific needs and temperament until we discovered Marti's ability to deliver outstanding service from hundreds of miles away.

We live next door to Good dog academy and daycare and they are wonderful we here NOTHING from this property and she keeps it immaculate and the dogs are all well taken care of and her help is exceptional especially Hector. The previous review is from a disgruntled neighbor we have all had dealings with so please do your research and most certainly board your dog with Marty she is wonderful . DONT always believe what you read Good Dog academy and daycare should get 5 stars .

The Good Dog Academy is a great place for our dog Bernie. I knew from the first time we met Marti that this was a great fit. She showed us how much she cared for our dog and Hector only reinforces my confidence in this place.Bernie is excited every time we get close to daycare. He wags his tail and hops out of the car ready to play. We've boarded Bernie several times and he's treated as one of Marti's family. It makes our trips more fun knowing that Bernie is so well taken care of. I highly recommend The Good Dog Academy.

We love this daycare! My dog has been going to GoodDog Academy since she was a puppy ,she is now 4 years old.She looks forward to going everyday.Marti(the owner) had made us feel welcome from the first time we went.My dog has also been boarded there and I never worry about her.All the dogs I see come out of the pole barn look happy and content about their day spent with friends at daycare.I have recommended Good Dog to my friends and they all have been happy with it.It is the best Dogcare in the area. Marti and Hector are the best.

Marty is a real animal whisperer and knows how to get amazing results. Think Rover can't be trained? Think again. If you're struggling to get results from your canine, give Good Dog a try. You'll be amazed at the results!

I live next door to Good Dog Academy and Daycare. I have 3 dogs and would never board them at Good Dog Academy. I have spoken with Marti (the owner) on many occasions regarding issues of her dead trees falling and destroying my fences and roofs. Marti is a bully, mean and nasty. She talks to you like a child and clicks the dismiss button when you attempt to call her. Her manager Hector is a wonderful person, but is totally under Marti's control. Starting in the early evening, EVERY NIGHT you can hear the boarded dogs barking and whining when left alone in the back pole barn. THERE IS A REASON Marti will not let you come into "her club" to see where the dogs are and whether or not they are crated. You can learn a lot about a person when you live next door to them and get to know their temperament. DO YOU REALLY TRUST A MEAN, VERBALLY ABUSIVE, CONTROLLING WOMAN to really care about your furry family member when she hates everyone and everything else? I would caution anyone considering this place to BEWARE. If you have nothing to hide, you have transparency. This should be the biggest clue of all!

Good Dog Daycare does an incredible job caring for our gentle little coton de tulear, giving him lots of love and positive reinforcement. He always looks forward to going there. Other places seem to treat all dogs the same, but Marti understands that they all have different personalities and respects each one for who they are.
The facilities are amazing with separate areas for different types of dogs, very large and beautiful indoor and outdoor areas, horses and other animals. I think they truly understand how to care for dogs in a holistic way. They provide resources for training, grooming, nutrition, overnight boarding, and have professionally answered any other questions we've had.

I have used Good Dog Academy exclusively for almost six years and they are the BEST hands down. I have complete and total confidence that my pet is in the best care when he is there and I know that my Pets best interests are always first and foremost. They are a private facility whereby they interview and screen all dogs to make sure that they are a good fit. That gives me tremendous peace of mind. This is a place that feels like a home away from home and Marti and her staff care for the dogs like family members. When they stay overnight, they are not put in cages when the staff goes home for the day and returns the next morning. They are in the owner’s home - treated like one of her own pets. Marti and her staff are simply the BEST! That’s my feedback. My Dog? There isn’t a day I’ve dropped him off he doesn’t howl with excitement as we pull in the driveway. He cannot get out of the car quick enough. I feel fortunate to have found GDA six years ago!!

After 3 Years of vacation boarding our 11yo furbaby at GDA, and spending Thousands of $Dollars, we have hit a wall. Done & Done! I have honestly communicated my feelings to Marty, the owner and rather than apologizing or offering a solution, she denies and calls my complaints & feelings "libelous " This review is an honest commentary on both my and my husbands' experiences at Good Dog Academy.

After 3 Years of vacation boarding our 11yo furbaby at GDA, and spending Thousands of $Dollars, we have hit a wall. Done & Done! I have honestly communicated my feelings to the Marty, the owner and rather than apologizing or offering a solution, she denies and calls my complaints & feelings "libelous " This review is an honest commentary on both my and my husbands' experiences at Good Dog Academy. PROS Close to our Home Requires pre-screening and yearly Vet reports Manager Hector is FANTASTIC! Our (allowed one-time only) inspection of the inside play area was large and clean. CONS Owner Marty - She has repeatedly offended, been rude and talked down to us. She displays a superiority complex & attitude that she is doing her Us a favour and her rules and expertise should NEVER BE QUESTIONED. She refers to her Facility as a "Club" And promptly corrected me; in her words: "You are mistaken. GDA is not a boarding facility. It is a private club for qualified members and dogs" During our first boarding, she Called us in Europe!! to tell us that our healthy, bright dog was malnourished & suggested she should be fed the food that IS SOLD AT HER FACILITY. (I should have gotten a clue then!) Expects blind trust. When I first asked her if we could see where our dog will sleep in her home; her response was "You want to see My Bedroom??!!" So That never happened, but she has never even sent us a photo or videos during inhome boarding or outside play. We get photos of her inside the barn only. When I expressed my concerns, these were Her words: "To suggest that I care for the dogs in the club who stay here in any other manner than I have told you is disparaging and libelous. I am not going to indulge this negativity. It is not only beneath my dignity, but Yours as well." REALLY!!!!!! And the straw that broke MY camels back; After the last boarding, this past 2 weeks, I simply questioned the odd $total of the charges that she texted me. She was rude and acted offended that I would even Think to question her. I was told that was the total, but also, Her words "since we are providing a service to you, just like a hair salon; you should consider paying a gratuity over and above the boarding fees". WHAT!!!! Now I am expected to add a gratuity for a service that I am banned from seeing, that I'm never allowed to question and that I have no actual proof since my dog cannot talk!! If it hadn't been for our positive experience with Hector, we would have left GDA long ago. Lesson learned Enough said. She will now reply and deny all and threaten me with libel as she has done in the other negative (Google) reviews.
