“I travel 40miles SPECIFICALLY for Danada Veterinary Hospital!
My family and I were loyal patients to a veterinary practice in Woodfield for 25+ years. Our 2yr old puppy got sick and our previous vet couldn’t find the answer - by no fault of their own. We had to bring our boy to multiple different vets and a few universities try to find answers to this “mystery” illness. The only good thing that came from that experience was finding Dr. Gunderson. She spent countless hours with us in the office, took late night phone calls to answer questions, and took her personal time to research answers. We will forever be thankful for her during that time.
Additionally, Dr. Wallach has been incredible. Our female corgi came down with acute pancreatitis last fall. Dr. Wallach got her in right away, made sure to see her next day for a follow up, and called me periodically over the next week to check-in on her.
Because of these two, I happily pack up my bunny and travel 50min for her check-ups and nail trims - now that i’ve moved out of my family home. I will always go out of my way for Danada as they continue to value special veterinarians like Dr. Gunderson and Dr. Wallach❤️”

“I have been taking my sweet boy to this office since I first moved here in 2018, and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. This review is LONG overdue but Dr. Bishop and Dr. Lopiccolo really go out of their way and take their time to make sure your animals are well taken care of! Both of my pups hate having their nails trimmed (and they are definitely not easy to deal with), but the doctors and staff have never made me feel like they were a headache to deal with (even though I definitely know they are lol).
Absolutely love how dedicated they are to making sure you and your babies feel comfortable and at ease. Earlier today my pup ripped his nail off and I was so worried ( not knowing how serious it was or wasn’t) and Dr. Bishop found time to fit me in first thing in the morning so I could still make it to work and also make sure my baby was ok. He got my pup all wrapped up and even found time to complete all his shots that he was due for so I didn’t need to bring him back next week. Not only that, but he will always go out of his way to offer any assistance you might need to make the appointments run smoother.
HUGE shout out to the doctors and staff for always handling my dogs’ nail trims, they say thank you and so do I ?”
“We had to say goodbye to our Dixie, and I have to say that it could not have been a kinder, more considerate event for both Dixie and me. Everyone I encountered, whether they were directly involved in the procedure or not, was sympathetic and treated us with respect and dignity. Everything was explained and handled slowly and carefully. Dixie was calm and relaxed and it was a bittersweet end for our dear girl. I'm thankful for the compassionate life ending experience that saved her from suffering.”

“We have been taking our Huskies to Elmhurst Animal Care Center for years, and they always receive excellent care. From the front desk staff, to the techs, down to the veterinarians. We have taken them here for check ups/follow up cares, boarding, and training. Whenever we go on vacation, our dogs stay here for boarding. We can tell they’re having the best time from the pictures we receive from the boarding staff. It’s like our dogs are on their own vacation!
Dr Cudiamat is our go-to vet. He is professional, very kind, and very reassuring. He really cares for our dogs. Not to mention very patient, because our dogs tend to be very “hyper” and anxious in public. He answers all our questions and concerns.
We can’t say enough good things about him and the staff, especially when it came to the most difficult time of our lives when we had to say goodbye to our old man husky. The staff was very considerate. Dr Cudiamat did an amazing job at informing us of the “process.” We felt that they were all there for us during this time. And they even sent us a sympathy card showing their condolences. Which we appreciated.
