“One of the best IMAX theater around Chicago metro. This place offers 15/70 IMAX format (15-perforation, 70mm) with the larger IMAX screen size (50.0' x 70.0' or 15.2m x 21.3m). Watching "Top Gun: Maverick" in this IMAX theater was one of the best cinematic experiences i've had. i regret never watching "Interstellar" at this IMAX theater.”

“Beautiful park with space for all. In addition the First Division museum is located on site as well and if you go to one, make sure you see them both. Lots of history and just a great way to spend the afternoon anytime of year. Plenty of parking and restrooms.”

“I cannot speak highly enough of the value of this museum.It is extremely inexpensive for the amount you receive.We got there at 1:00 and only walked through half by 2:30 and it closed at 3:00.We could have taken much longer but we started to realize that it was getting close.There is so much good information You literally have to stay at each section for 15 minutes or so to just really grasp the greatness of the sacrifice of these people.I can't wait to go see this again.Any pictures that anyone takes is only a minuscule version of what it's actually like to be in that space.It is completely immersive with war sounds in the background and tanks in front of you and pictures and maps and artifacts.I have two public folders on my Facebook account (RoseAnn Melcarek) that are for Cantigny if you want to see more pictures.”

“We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Carlisle in November of 2023. As most people, we looked at multiple venues to select the best one for our special day. After visiting several locations, we went to The Carlisle and from the moment we entered we knew this was the one. The Carlisle is very elegant with a lot of mirrors and crystal chandeliers and after meeting with the event planner we were sold. Laura Papa was welcoming, professional and explained everything clearly. She answered all our questions with great detail and made suggestions, but never tried to upsell us. We had found the perfect place for our wedding! Every time we met with Laura, we became more sure that the Carlisle was superior to all other venues. My husband to be, wanted the evening to be magical for me and magical it was! Laura and the staff at the Carlisle were phenomenal. They listened to what we wanted and delivered beyond our expectations. We highly recommend The Carlisle to anyone looking for an elegant, well-run establishment to host any event. There are many venues to choose from in the Chicagoland area ,but if you are looking for a perfect experience, The Carlisle is the best choice hands down.”

“Fantastic experience all the way through! On our first visit we met with Jill, and she was very friendly and informative, give us all of the information we needed without being pushy. Then, once we booked the venue, we met with Nikilett who was absolutely phenomenal. Very friendly and great attention to detail. Also very easy to communicate with and willing to go out of her way in order to help in any way she could. In fact, I reached out to Nikilett several weeks before the wedding letting her know that I wanted to add onion rings to the late night snack menu but I didn't want my wife to know and I wanted it to be a surprise (making home-made onion rings was one of our first dates). Not only did she gladly agree to keep the secret, she even went as far as to create a separate bill so that might wife didn't see it during their final walk through! This wasn't even my idea! As far as the rest of the venue goes, we couldn't be happier. It started during our tasting, which was a fantastic experience and much more extravagant than we were expecting. They really went out of their way to make sure we were having a great experience. The day before the wedding I headed up to the venue to hit the driving range with my groomsmen. On our way out we checked the set-up and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that they had everything set up and ready to go. We also very much liked that they told us we had up until a couple hours before the ceremony to decide if we wanted move everything inside. This helped ease some of the nerves knowing that we could wait to see what the weather actually was before having to make a decision. And finally, guests had a really nice time out on the balcony. It was a great spot for people to get some fresh air and take a break from the festivities without having to go out and stand in front of the building. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our experience. The venue was just what we were looking for in terms of looks, but what really sets it apart is the team. From start to finish we had an absolutely tremendous experience with Jill, Nikilett, and the entire staff. I think you will be hard pressed to find a better team more willing to go above and beyond to make sure you have a special day. Bolingbrook Golf Club comes highly recommended in my opinion if you want a nice venue and a great staff. Oh, and I almost forgot, the groom's suite was a nice touch and came in handy before, during and after the festivities!”

“I've been a proud Member of NCC for 32+ years. Our golf course was renovated 2005-07 and is always in perfect playing condition. Our clubhouse and dining facilities were expanded and modernized in 2021 and our food and staff have never been better. Although we've had a waiting list for several years, NCC is the best value in the western suburbs and Member opportunities are available. “My family came here Labor Day Weekend and reserved a lane. We went to the arcade beforehand and had a blast. There were so many fun games to play. We wanted lunch before bowling so we ordered the sampler platter and the 4 of us were stuffed.

“Real chill vibe with an awesome staff. It's also super close to just about everything - incredibly convenient for downtown area. They also sell booze you can bring home with you, so if you're only wanting to grab just one obligatory drink with friends then maybe a sixer to bring home to share with your partner or self or friends, whatever - they've got you covered! They have outdoor spots as well and the music is right up our alley, so there's really nothing negative I could come up with.”

“We had our wedding ceremony and reception here. It was incredible. The grounds and architecture are beautiful. The event hall has beautiful stained glass windows. The mansion was elegant. Our guests said it was the a classy and relaxing environment and that’s exactly why we chose it. This place has so many ornate details in the ceilings, flooring, staircase, woodwork, and windows. Tours were also offered to our guests making it a unique and fun wedding experience.What I loved most about this place was the event coordinator, Sherry. She put so much of her attention, time, and heart into our event. She was professional, responsive, caring, and helpful. She knows everything it takes to make an event goes smooth. She worked with every vendor to ensure the our evening went well.The Peabody Mansion will always be a special place in our heart. Not only was it beautiful venue but it was Sherry who made the night absolutely seamless and perfect. We are forever grateful to have worked with someone who cared about our wedding as much as we did.”

“Love, love, loved the Drake in oak Brook. Our room was beautiful, the service was exceptional, the room service was awesome and the food was so delicious. Ricky was our valet attendant he went about and beyond to make sure we were happy. I highly recommend the Drake in Oak Brook we were so happy, were going back to rent a suite for the weekend. “We had a king room. No issue with the main room. The bathroom was cramped. The vanity was much too small for our two toiletry items. The toilet location was cramped. When opening the hinged shower door, water from the door dripped quite a bit on the floor and towel mat.Other than that our stay was wonderful. As an Army veteran I received a very nice rate reduction. Thank you Hyatt.All services in the main entry area of the hotel were top notch! The complementary breakfast was delicious. Christina made us a delicious custom ingredient omelet. She was so accommodating and sweet. In the kitchen she makes all of the other delicious selections. The bar and the several food items they serve are very good. The seating is plentiful.”
