I've been going to this salon for many years. Deb does an amazing job. She is professional, caring and 100 percent tuned into her clients' needs. Deb is one of the kindest people I know and I am so grateful for the services she provides.

I am so uncomfortable writing this review due to the horrific experience I had with Deb, as well as the fact that she has my phone number and much of my personal information from my application, but I feel like this needs to be shared. I had applied to a salon assistant position on Indeed. Deb called me promptly and I asked her what the position entailed. She explained that it was "a little bit of everything" but she did need help with the application of her fiber extensions. So, I'm thinking answering phones, sweeping, sanitizing, shampooing, and a little bit of the extensions on the side. I would like to preface by saying, I am 19 years old; fresh out of high school; no cosmetology or hair experience whatsoever; no interest in hair whatsoever; simply a young girl looking for a part time job for some extra cash. Deb sounded so sweet over the phone, so we set up an interview right away for the following Sunday, which is now two days ago. Attached below are my notes of what happened, because I went over the character count in this review. I also want to say in advance before putting this out there, I know Yelp has a "funny" reaction feature. And I can see Deb being the type to laugh at this. If you think this is funny you need help. I'm still incredibly uncomfortable thinking about this experience.

I have been going to Papilla since 2002. They especially Deb do great service. Eye lash extensions also. I highly recommend this salon. Honesty. Loyalty to returning customers. Customize's service based on what you want. Need a loose perm ? Best place to get one. Your hair will thank you. You'll love how you look. ❤️

Asked if she did men's hair replacements. Must've been some sort of joke because I paid $800 for a mop glued onto my head. No styling or anything. At least you get hit with the "you look like a model" complement as you walk out.
