Twice I experience wasted time and money with CVS Minute Clinic. The last one was at this location (yesterday). The Nurse Practioner who is the clinician diagnosing and treating patients misdiagnosed and also called my symptoms a mystery illness. She suggested I give it time (she spelled out the word time. Yes, the visit included sarcasm).Today, I go to Walgreens (another $30 co-pay) to be diagnosed with a severe ear and throat infection and am prescribed antibiotics. Something that should have happened if she was paying attention to doing her job instead of being passive aggressive and discounting me as a patient looking for help.

My appointment was at 6:00, I checked in at about 5:50 and it is currently 6:35 and I still have not been seen. I just left because I have other things to do. Waste of time. Don’t put this available time slot if nobody’s going to bother to come out and help.

They claim walk ins are an option but you’re required to make an appointment when you arrive. There’s no one in the clinic with over an hour before lunch break, and no appointments left today. Waste of time.

From the minute I walked in, the NP was rude. And this just continued on when I actually got into her room to start the process. I asked her a question and she rudely tells me to read the sign behind me as if I was supposed to just know that sign was there. Her whole tone of voice the entire time was just rude. I ended up leaving because my insurance was not working for some reason but I know that everything happens for a reason and I am glad that I left. I or no one else deserves to be serviced by someone with an attitude like hers. It is a shame that these are the people we have in healthcare who are supposed to help us. I pray that her day or life gets better! CVS, please hire better people.

I was reading the old, not so good reviews and was hesitant to go. I'm so glad I went! They must have hired new staff because I was there today and Michelle was wonderful! She was very thorough and friendly. She was also super patient with my million questions! I would recommend to anyone, especially a parent who needs to get their child checked out quickly. It's super convenient because if you need a prescription, you can just fill it on site!

I truly don’t care how old anyone is, it’s simple. if your in healthcare then treat people how you would like to be treated. I don’t care what time it is of your day and what’s going on in your life. Your customer comes first , your patient or whenever is in front you. The nurse practitioner here is either mad she isn’t a real doctor or this is the only place she can get work…bc of her disgusting attitude. She spoke fast, spoke over you. Made no eye contact asked why I was there and then said “you should of gone to the ER,I can’t do anything for you here” hahahahaha. The girl who was shadowing her .. was like wtfffff. And gave me a wide eye look. Lol what a joke to be honest. I’m glad she was that way and hopefully the girl in training won’t be learning much and realizes that is not how health care is done. Therefore making This place a horrible place for any means of any care whatsoever.

Loved the NP I saw. Right on time. Very thorough and caring. She spent more time with me than my doc does. She listened and made me feel comfortable and welcome. Would definitely go back

I went in today (8/4/21) in desperation as my cold hasn’t been getting any better. I am vaccinated. I was fearful I may have strep throat. The women who greeted me seemed kind at first but after a couple of minutes into our appointment (even from behind a mask) I could physically feel her mood change. She seemed extremely annoyed I hadn’t tested for COVID to the point she was almost rolling her eyes. She was very passive aggressive, flippant, judge mental. All of the things I fear most when telling someone intimidate details about myself. I was so uncomfortable just being alone in a room with her. When I told her I was starting to feel uncomfortable and wanted to leave she said to me “I am sorry that you feel that way” (extremely backhanded; perhaps “I am sorry for making you uncomfortable” would have been more appropriate) and offered no remorse or kindness for me. I would never speak to a client/patient/customer this way. Why do these kind of people work in health care? I am 24 years old but she spoke to me as if I was a child. I will not be going back to this location ever. And recommend you go somewhere else.Oh, also. My results came back NEGATIVE for COVID. So what she really did was gaslight me.

I checked in because I have a SINUS INFECTION. No cough no covid symptoms at all. Was told that I need to have a negative covid test in the last 24 hours to be seen. Never will return to minute clinic again. Absolute BS. Totally dissatisfied with this clinic.

My wife went in because she had terrible aches and a nasty cough and sore throat. She wanted to rule out anything severe. The clinic tested for flu and she was negative. They diagnosed it as a common cold. Later that night she went to the ER because she felt that something was not right. It was Strept. She could have been easily diagnosed with a 5 minute test that the clinic failed to administer and put the rest of our family, including a baby, in danger of something extremely contagious. The Dr. put her on antibiotics and she felt much better within a day. Lazy diagnosis.

Waist of time/money if you need a doctors prescription. Only “nurses†are at minute clinics. Nurses are not licensed to prescribe the drugs a doctor can.
