“The experience was painless because of my LO. I made the mistake of hiring a lawyer who was less than competent, and ran into issues with communication with him. I was left in the dark a bit, but luckily was able to contact my LO who helped get me the information I was looking for. “I decided to try speaking with a few fiduciary financial advisers recently. Last up was Nicky Amore from Falcon. Her approach is smart, as it entails a series of appointments (at no cost to the client), during which you become familiar with her and her style, which is calm and very informative. She actually teaches financial courses, so this is basically second nature to her.
I've still not decided if I'm going to sign up with any financial advisers, as some of the best advice I've gotten to date is for me to educate and inform myself much more thoroughly. But once I'm educated, if I want someone to overlook my finances--and chances are that I will--I believe I'll be calling Nicky Amore.”
