It’s comical how the first review I stumbled upon for the Wood Dale location mentioned how well of a job David did when another HR block location had made a ton of mistakes for a different customer. I got wind of my sister previously dealing with David (within the last month) at the Wood Dale location who made a tremendous amount of mistakes when attempting to file her taxes. I feel HR block is the Walmart of “accountants” but you can’t even call them legit as they go by “tax professionals” and upon the expertise of the job - no where in the description does it reflect the need for years of experience or any sufficient training outside what HR block provides a “preseason tax professional” Your credibility is severely diminished when you constantly go back and forth with peoples refunds. Errors should not be made and the “professionals” should really be keen on the upmost accuracy and attention to detail when filing on the behalf of the general public as it erodes trust in the business overall. On top of it they want to slap a hefty price for filing for her to pay. Moral of the story is - you wouldn’t like it if people made large errors on your tax refund so don’t do it to your customers. And the dismissiveness of the other staff upon completing a call back adds to the poor customer service. Do yourself a favor - find yourself a good, real tax accountant.

Got my card working asap when my other H&R Block. Was trying to fix 8 times. Long store short He won’t make mistakes. He’s the best thank you so much for helping our family.

My wife and I have had Janet Fisuk prepare our tax returns for four years and each time we have found her to be dependable, knowledgeable, and professional. We come back to H & R Block each year because of her.

Maggie is professional and seems to do her job well but, for a single person without dependants like myself; I was charged 155$ file tax fee + file state 70$ fee + 35$ health insurance feeBefore going in I was only told about 155$ filing tax fee so becareful they will stick you with whatever at the end when there is no turning back
