“I can't say enough good things about Sphinx Computer. Ahmed and Dorothy are highly knowledgeable and go above and beyond to provide their customers with superb service. I've experienced this on three separate occasions, and each time I've been extremely pleased. One example: Several months ago, I asked Ahmed to help me change from home WiFi to wired connections, in order to reduce my EMF exposure. He came out and spent about an hour inspecting my home and brainstorming solutions with me. We finally came up with a surprisingly simple system, which Ahmed set up with equipment from his store, at no extra cost. In the process, he diagnosed a computer problem that I reported and worked on it until it was solved. The total cost was very reasonable for all the work he did. To this day, my wired connections are working beautifully, and my computer is fast and smooth. It's good to know that in my neighborhood is such a friendly, reliable, and skilled team. The Glen Ellyn store had the battery I needed and an impressive array of many other types of batteries. When I called at 5:00 pm to check on the battery, I learned that Glen Ellyn store had the battery I needed and their store manger, Jeremiah, promised they would install the battery as soon as I could arrive. Within 48 hours (because he had to order the battery), I had my IPod back & is like brand new. The price was fair & instead of buying a new one he repaired it without hesitation. He just dropped it off, got it back on my wall bracket and it’s back to working. If you’re in Mt. Prospect or the surrounding towns I highly recommend them.”
“I have used Scott several times. My first experience with Scott involved a Charmille 440 CC wire EDM machine. Scott went through several boards that the manufacturer suggested could be failing. After examining the components of these boards he determined they were in working order. Turned out to be a door switch.Scott recently did an amazing job repairing the generator boards on my AgieCharmilles P550. Incredibly the machine would still run, but at significantly reduced speed. He replaced several components and now the machine is running as good as new. These are very complex boards. I would recommend Scott to anyone who has electronics issues with their equipment. If it’s not broke he tells you. If it is he is the guy you want fixing it.”

I would highly recommend working with the company. They are fast, more than reliable, and have the consumer's interest in their mind.I was having issues with making a bootable drive for windows and I called Dave for help. He offered to make a drive for me and pick it up from him. When I asked how much he would charge he said free of charge!In todays service industry what Dave did is not only nice, but truly the top tier of service excellence. He offered me contact information and pick up instructions to help assist me receiving the boot drive. He not only did that, but got my drive made in 20 minutes! “Over the last two months I found two occasions to give C& K Electronics a 5-star review.The first was related to a dishwasher control board that was not working, was no longer made, nor replacment units available anywhere.Upon taking the unit to C&K Electonics, Perry repaired while I waited.Two weeks ago my stove began beeping with a F1 error code. This control board was also found to no longer be made, nor supported by the manufacturere.I took to to Perry to review and one day later he had it repaired. One hour later the stove was back working.”

“I called today around 11 to see if they had a screen for my phone. They said they did. I called Samsung to start my claim. Paid my deductable, and dropped off my phone around 12 and was told it would be done around 130pm. I stopped by at 145 and it was done. The screen looks amazing and i didnt know the phone rails on the sides, the top, and bottom would be replaced too. Im very happy with my visit. Thank you so much.”

“I was having a hard time with my portal scanner, even called Epson customer service was on the phone for over an hour and they told me my scanner was out of warranty couldn't fix. Found Focus technologies service online and the lady that answer the phone was amazing helped me in figure out the problem in less then 10 min. I am so happy I found this amazing place, highly recommend to anyone with scanner, printers & projector problems. She was very frieendly, professional and knowledgeable. :)”

“I have ONLY POSITIVE things to say about this business. They were assigned to fix a warranty claim on a brand new LG TV. Dimitri was excellent in repairing my TV. As soon as the part came in from LG he was over the next day to install it. He ended up fixing the TV on my bed as that was the best place to safely work on the big screen. The TV worked for a few hours and then was back to same issue. He was back the next day and diagnosed that it was a bad panel instead of a faulty motherboard. LG sent a new panel and once again the day after it arrived he was at my place to swap it out while a blizzard raged outside.”

“The two associates I worked with were fantastic. Paul on the first day, and Derrick on the day I had the repairs performed. Knowledgeable and engaged. It is not often you run into young customer service reps in retail that are as switched on as these two. They are truly a credit to the company. They deserve raises!! I was given options, the explanations were clear and concise and honest. The additional battery replacement I was offered was also at a discount since I was there to have the earpiece speaker replaced or cleaned. It turned out a cleaning was all it needed. That kept the price down. In less than 24 hours I referred two people. I had been referred myself by my tenant.Do yourself a favour.... do NOT consider anyone else for your repairs.Now, about those raises....... :-)”
