Breakfast is not included even though I paired for it when booking. No one ever at the front desk to help and all extremely rude individuals who work here. Definitely would recommend a different hotel if you’re staying in the area.

Was looking for a hotel close to training facility. This place was close by. Strange front desk experience. Not the most energetic crew. Weird energy. Large hotel that offers breakfast for $15/ea unless part of your package. Food is average to a holiday inn continental. Restaurant and bar open 5-9. I traveled with 4 other co-workers. Room layout was the same, but 3 of us had different shower setups. Oldy but goody if you're looking for a solid place. (rooms have windows to the hallways, now covered).

My worst experience I had in a hotel of the Hilton chain.
Personal not kind and prepared, room and gym old and with no maintenance, swimming pool frozen and impossible to use. The hotel is absolutely not a 4 star worth for what you pay. I will not go there anymore.

The hotel was so cold, we could not let the kids get in the pool .Normally indoor pools rooms are warm . The pool and the room was freezing ! I had to switch rooms because the room I was in the heat was not working and to get hot water we had to run the shower for 15 to 20 mins . When I was switched to another room we had the same problem with the heat and water problem. Maintenance had to come back and forth to my room 3 times when I was switched to get the heat working. The water problem was never fixed . The FRONT desk is friendly but not to professional when it comes to the rules and procedure. At breakfast time I called the front desk and asked them is it possible to just keep the incidental fee for breakfast he told me yes . My husband went to get the food and they was giving him a hard time they had to call managers and supervisors and I told them I literally just talked to someone at the desk and they said I could so we get the food and at end end we were trying pay . The front desk told us to go ahead they would just charge the card(we did not sit down there and eat, we went back to the room) Kids was not ready to eat yet . We came back for the kids food and the kitchen manager came out just looking at us so I asked him is everything ok ? He said no u guys can’t keep coming back(THIS WAS THE 2nd TIME) . I told him I paid and my kids need to eat . Basically told me he don’t care we could have 10 kids in the room….(MY 2 KIDS ATE) AGES 4&6 . Also, when we switched rooms I left a expensive body wash in the room and did not notice it until the next morning when I went to shower so I asked the front desk if I could check(not there) . I said did anyone turn it in? No ! So that means to me one of your housekeepers steals!!!! I’m not hard to please at all and have been to other hotels and this was by FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !!!!
Rooms: Cold

Great hotel but a few things to know before booking:
- rent a car because it is not walking friendly(spending on ubers will cost more)
- not much close by (shopping malls, food, etc.) Food/shopping is north of Chicago.
- if you happen to not get a car you can Uber(1-2 miles) to the closest train station(get ventra app/card) and go from there(1-2hr ride to chicago for about $13). Or just rent a car last minute
Overall: good place to stay just gotta be prepared

The rooms are very large I had the king suite with a living room I believe it was. So there were two TVs a refrigerator microwave everything you could use all the amenities. One thing I would like to say though is it has wallpaper that seems to be a little dated there was some areas where it was being peeled off and that was disappointing. I'm not a fan of the way the cable service works they use DirecTV and the controls are just very unresponsive cuz they're using these universal remotes. Would be nice if they offered an option where you could plug in your own Netflix or YouTube or something like that just so you can have more options other than whatever is being available on DirecTV. But I digress it's a minor issue The water was always hot The room is very beautiful The beds were soft and clean they didn't come in when I didn't want them to and they came in when I wanted them to it was a wonderful experience. And you get cookies holy crap the cookies are super duper delicious if for no other reason stopping there and get some cookies

Went to Chicago for a conference and saw the 4 star review for this location which was close to the airport and conference site. Not sure how this place could ever be rated a 4 star. From the service at the front desk when checking in, to the time we checked out, I was amazed at the ratings other travelers had given this place. The location is outdated, worn out, and needs a massive renovation in my opinion. The carpet in the hallways is also extremely dirty and stained.
When we checked in, the desk agent said basically 2 words to us while processing the card. She handed me the room key and I had to ask where the room was located and she basically just pointed to a direction. There is only one elevator in the whole place and the layout of the hotel requires one to walk almost the entire distance around the hotel to get to it, if you don't want to take the stairs. Just overall zero customer service skills at all.
I asked about the breakfast and the desk agent pointed across the lobby and said "6:00-10:00". I went down the next morning and it looked like your standard hotel breakfast with several other travelers eating at the tables. I got a plate and saw there were pancakes, eggs, potatoes, and bacon. I asked an employee who had walked by if they had syrup and she said they did not. I got a couple pieces of bacon and potatoes as well as a yogurt and proceeded to one of the tables. The employee who I had talked to earlier came over a few minutes later and gave me a check. It was for $15.00 and she had circled the area for a tip as well? I looked over again at the buffet area and on a sign that was out of view from where you enter the buffet, showed the price of $15. Are you kidding me? The items they had wouldn't warrant $1, and for the employee to ask for a tip when they literally did nothing was a huge turn off. I think they should be more upfront with the cost of the buffet and if they want a tip, actually help the guests. Be aware, the breakfast is not included!!
The room was gross to say the least. It had a damp/moldy smell to it. The sheets were worn and the bed was uneven. The bathroom had caulk over areas you could tell had mold underneath. The shower head had fallen off the wall and was screwed back in with several grabber type screws and was crooked on the wall. There were also stains on the counter top that would not come out as well and the sink would not drain. The toilet had a leak and made a loud dripping sound the whole time too.
I'm generally a very easy person to please and don't complain much at all. In this case, I wanted to warn others that the description of the hotel as well as prior reviews, do not even come close to what you should expect. I would not return here for a stay.

Big rooms. "Close" to the airport, therefore some flight noise, but ok..
The bar was stated to be open till 10 pm, but closed already at 9. So no night cap....

In no world should this hotel be rated a 4 star. The walls were paper thin to the point of being able to see light at the ceiling coming from the other room. There is ZERO noise protection from the neighboring rooms.. we could hear everything. The linens on the bed were thin and worn. The shower head was old and had a really odd spray pattern.. for a hotel rated a 4 star I expect better. I would not stay here again. The bed was comfortable though.
Rooms: Very very thin walls. You can hear your neighbor's conversations and the TV clear as day.

It's just an old outdated room.
Noteworthy details: Another option close to airport not as pricey.

This has been an awful experience. So far, I've had housekeeping ealk into my room while on a call, found what appears to be dried blood on towels, and my air conditioning does not work, leaving my room at 77°. They claim the hotel is full and offered nothing. Needless to stay, I will be contacting management and not returning.
Rooms: Run down with no working A/C
