“Kol Tuv is a hidden gem on Devon Ave in Chicago. It is a specialty grocery store that carries an eclectic variety of foods that cater to all different populations. They have all the items you would find in a typical grocery store plus gluten free, dairy free, kosher, gourmet etc. When you go, you must check out the selection of chocolates and candies. The staff is friendly and helpful and the store is immaculate. This store makes grocery shopping fun and exciting! Hope you love it as much as we do!”
“I recently discovered Wilmette Market, a newly established, family-owned store near me, and I couldn’t be happier with it! The store is incredibly well-organized, making it easy to find whatever you need. Their prices are great and very reasonable, especially for the quality of the items they offer.
Harry, one of the owners, is extremely helpful and always goes out of his way to assist with finding things. He’s super friendly and makes you feel welcome every time you stop by. His father is equally kind and approachable, making this market a warm and inviting place to shop.
Whether you’re looking for alcohol, snacks, or other kinds of drinks, Wilmette Market has it all. I highly recommend that people in the area stop by and check it out. Not only will you find great products, but you’ll also meet some genuinely nice people. Harry and his father are the kind of people you’d want to make friends with—they’re just that chill!

“What’s not to love about this shop? The owner and team are always super approachable and excellent with recommendations. I’ve had nothing but the most delicious (for me) wines from here because they know what they’re talking about! Don’t bother with the wine at WF. Get your charcuterie there and then head to Independent Spirts.”
“It is so clear that this is a passion project. Everything in this store is carefully thought out. Nearly every bottle has a handwritten paragraph about it. There is so much variety packed into one little shop without the snobbery you might find at comparable places. Price points at all levels, too! Also, Thursday wine tastings are so much fun! I have learned so much about wine from going to these tastings when I can. Everyone that works here is super knowledgeable and patient. My husband and I bring our 3 young kids and everyone is always so cool and understanding. I would give it more stars if I could!”
“This is my go to place for beer in the Skokie area. They have a wide selection along with spirits, wine, cheese and other snacks.
The staff is extremely friendly and if there's a specific beer/spirit you're looking for, they can pre-order it for you.

“This wine shop is wonderful. Guy, the owner, couldn’t be nicer and is incredibly knowledgeable about wine. On top of that, he goes out of his way to get to know his customers and remembers what wines they like. He is so friendly and welcoming and has a great wine selection. We’ve also been to private events here as well and they are wonderful. Couldn’t recommend the shop more!!!”
“Very friendly everyone is very helpful even when they're busy, and I must say they're are always busy but still have the time to help me out if not anyone else. Which I really appreciate it alot. The shelves are always stock up to the max and I have no problem finding anything I need and /or want on whatever that I need. I live close to this place and this is my first and go-to fast store to shop for things like beer,cigarettes, milk and snacks little stuff like that. The only thing I wish that I wish they would have is to accept the link card, but they don't. I think they would have more business if they did accept the link card but it's all good though. I really really like this store as being a go-to number 1 place to visit if you need a quick bite of something to eat or drink of anything like that.”

“Have shopped here for a few years now and love this place, so glad to have them in the neighborhood. Today I went in and basically accused them of a mistake from the day before. They graciously explained how it wasn't really possible and I quickly saw that my claim was silly. At no point did they make me feel bad or anything. I have no doubt that any of the guys working here would have provided the same kind service.
Love how there's always multiple new and interesting things in the coolers (tbh I'm not a wine/spirits person). When I've asked questions on my picks, they always have answers. Surprising, given the selection they have.

“They have best and widest selection on premium whiskey, wine, and other spirits that I’ve seen in the area by leaps and bounds. They are also always eager and happy to help find particular brands or vintages when I’ve wanted or needed them for a client. The staff is courteous and helpful without breathing over your shoulder the whole time and the owners are fantastic to work with. If you need something nice for a client or friends or family for the holidays stop in here and if they don’t have it they will get it for you asap!”

“This is our "go to" wine store in downtown Winnetka. Totally puzzled by negative reviews about feeling not welcomed by the owner. She is very nice lady who is always helpful and cheerful. Oh, and her dog Mick is so adorable and very large too! Very good wine selection, well curated. As an added bonus, we started new tradition: stopping by Good Grapes after dinner to buy and open a good bottle of wine with F&F. You can sit right there in the store at one of the few tables. It is really cozy neighborhood place, highly recommend to check it out.”
