Wonderful little school for the past 3+ years. Our kids started here when they were 3 years old, knowing no French. Within two years they were fluent. The teachers are amazing. The kids are able to learn at their own pace, without growing bored or frustrated by moving too slow or too fast in the subject matter. Being closely involved with students of different ages has encouraged independence and confidence, and has taught them how to help and patiently play with younger kids plus be at ease with older kids. We are very happy to have found La Petite École de Chicago for our family- it is the perfect fit for us!

My child is attending this preschool for a second year in the row. The teachers and this program are top notch; my kiddo is bilingual, speaking full sentences in French and starting to learn the basics of reading, writing, and mathematics! We are very pleased that our child always has a great time learning, playing with classmates, singing French songs, and more.

This is a beautiful micro-school in Evanston. During my visit, I was struck by how organized and beautiful the class was at the end of the day. The teachers were very generous with their time and showed me in detailed the workspace, school calendar, some samples of the students work. Because of the very low teacher-to-student ratio, the children at all ages can get individual attention and progress at a customized curriculum, and this is a big selling point of the school in addition to the French language immersion. I really hope the school would continue to grow.

My daughters have really excelled at this school. Caring teachers, a wonderful nurturing environment, and the flexibility to adjust the pace of learning to best suit my children. They follow the French curriculum, which operates a bit differently than the American system, but in many ways I think it is better and makes more sense. Although my wife and I don't speak French, it is wonderful to give our children the ability to be fluent in another language, which has tremendous benefits for brain development. Also, they have kept the school in-person this year, which I think is very important for children's mental well-being, social development, and overall learning experience. I couldn't recommend the school more highly.

La Petite Ecole is absolutely wonderful! I'm thrilled that this second chapter of the school opened in our area. My children are thriving in this environment with exceptional teachers and look forward to coming to the school every day. They come home singing songs and telling me fun stories about their day. My kindergartener comes home with books that she can read to me in French and my older child shows me essays she has written in beautiful cursive. The math curriculum is in particular really resonating with my kids and they are advancing very quickly. The teachers constantly communicate about progress and lessons and continually find creative ways to teach the children. I highly recommend this school!

LPE was a savior, rushing to open up a school in just two months during a global pandemic. The instruction combines a robust academic curriculum with compassion and pla, in an environment that fosters cultural openness and language proficiency. Our family is grateful to be part of the LPE community.

Excellent quality of teaching, a welcoming environment, moral values and an extremely caring faculty. It is in these terms that we would describe the Little Chicago School, in which we see our children realize themselves a little more each day. Highly recommend!!!
