Wow! I just cannot say enough good things about the staff and service at Green Bay Cycles.My father recently had major ankle surgery, so must use a “knee scooter” to be able to move around the house while keeping his surgical foot suspended. The scooter has a handbrake on the handlebars similar to brakes on a bicycle, so when we couldn’t get the brake to work I figured maybe there was a chance that a bike shop might be able to fix it.The staff immediately went to work, moving the scooter’s handbrake from the right side to the left, adjusting it for the softer pull and closer grip that my father desired, and even fixed the parking brake—all the while projecting a welcoming warmth and sincere desire to help.With the scooter now transformed into a match safer and more user-friendly device, I took out my credit card feeling happy to pay whatever price they thought fair. To my surprise, however, they refused to charge me! Instead, the owner shared his own experience healing from a similar surgery, and how much people had helped him along the way.To say I left Green Bay Cycles impressed would be a major understatement. I cannot remember the last time I experienced a business anywhere near as friendly, responsive or accommodating. GBC staff, thank you again!!

Went into the store for the first time today looking for a specific bike (Giant tcr) The old miserable overweight man behind the counter was a total jerk. When I asked him if he had the bike in stock he got upset and decided to lecture me about why he would never stock a bike like that. I then asked him if he could show me the ones he had in stock and he completely ignored my request. Terrible atmosphere and customer service. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Fast service! Friendly staff! Fantastic place! My bike was taken out of my car and put back in my car - phenomenal. My bike was fixed in 4 hours close to a HOLIDAY. Smiley and kind owner. Highly recommended!!!

Went to this shop after hearing they were having a back-to-school sale. I ended up buying a bike from them and I had an issue with the factory-installed crankset. They were really good about diagnosing the problem and providing me with a viable solution. The owner Larry was really helpful in replacing the crankset and did it while I waited. Both he and his wife Pam were extremely courteous and were really interested in solving the problem to get me back on the trail. They also have a great trail to test ride your bike a short distance away, the Green Bay Trail. This shop epitomizes what a small shop can do that a larger chain often lacks, a high level of individualized customer service. I highly recommend this bike shop!

Can't recommend enough. I just moved to the Northshore and needed a bike. I went in and even though it was busy, the owner, Larry, took time to walk me through several options and let me take each out for a quick spin. He was incredible helpful, not pushy at all and I am very happy with the purchase. Just a few weeks later, I needed repair on my daughters bike and they fixed it within an hour after I walked in and at a reasonable price. I will definitely be back!

Had some trouble with my bike while on a long ride. Stopped in and they checked out the bike and fixed the issue immediately. A cold front and rain moved in while I was waiting so the owner gave me a free vest to keep me warm as I rode back to Chicago. This is what a neighborhood biz is all about. Good people.

Found my new go to bike shop! Went in with a few questions and received lots of wonderful answers from Larry (Bear). He explained pros and cons of different bikes, then let me try a few bikes. No pressure, just patient and helpful. We talked a bit more and I walked out a happy customer. Trust me I can be picky and this is the place you want to go to. Great selection of mid to high end bikes in stock.Thank you Bear!

From the technical expertise and skills of the seasoned mechanics to the breadth of product selection this shop simply can't be beat. Most importantly, Larry and his wife have created a very friendly, welcoming, service orientated atmosphere that is truly a rare find these days. Yes, this place is really that special!!
