I moved from Winnetka to Colorado 4 years ago. I was back on the Northshore to see friends but took some time to shop at Frances Heffernan. I was warmly welcomed and allowed to browse and find some beautiful items. The clerk saved me 10% by shipping my purchases to Colorado. I will definitely be back. It was a wonderful experience from the minute I walked into the store.

A few friends had recommended I look for a formal dress here. I was hesitant because I think of it as a high end store for older women, but perhaps that's me these days! I first stopped in end of August hoping they'd have some fall dresses, but they said i was a little early. Is it me or is fall fashion coming out later and later? They told me to come back in a few weeks for 2 trunk shows. I did just that and while I saw some beautiful dresses, they weren't for me. Everyone who worked here was super sweet and helpful...and I like that they didn't pressure me to buy anything. And by the looks of some of the amazing dresses I've seen friends buy here I may give it another shot in the future!

I walked into this store fully prepared to do some serious shopping ($$$) and the salesperson totally ignored me. Never once asked if I needed help, etc. Not the first time this has happened here: very clique-ish sales crew. I will take my business elsewhere.
