My wife and I went to Bedside Manor today for the purchase of a number of items for a new bedroom makeover. While we had passed by this comfortable, well-stocked store many times on Green Bay Rd., this was our first time inside. The staff could not have been friendlier, more well-informed or responsive during a one hour visit. Lenore, our saleswoman, had many great ideas and facilitated the decision-making process with an eye for detail and quality. Afterwards, two different staff offered to help us to the car with purchases. High quality store - high quality professional staff.

I have shopped at Bedside Manor for many years, 2 things have remain consistent. First is the quality of the products, they are really unparalleled to any other bedding and bath boutique I have found. The second is the absolute rudeness of every sales person I have had to deal with over the years. It doesn’t matter if you’re spending $500 or $5000, you will be treated poorly.

So everyone in the store is wonderful EXCEPT the manager. Unfortunately, thats where authority resides for customer service or any issues with merchandise as she refuses contact with the owner. We bought bedding where the shipped product did not match the sample. Apparently they had "die lot issues". What happened? Major hassle on a return, forced the acceptance of a store credit, tried to force us to use it with the same product line (which failed in the first place) and then charged a restocking fee. Oh by the way, they price match UNLESS you are using your credit. The overpayment and restocking fee amounted to a $300 penalty and a lot of attitude. Do yourself a favor and go to a department store. Ordered the rest of our bedding from Bloomingdales which is always 20% off, ships faster, carries the same higher end merchandise and happily stands behind what they sell. Note to owner: I know your manager has been there a long time. She probably has some great qualities. Just much better at taking money then giving it back. Maybe you should make yourself available to customers? Fail.

The customer service in this place is incredible! I was hesitant to walk in at first. Sometimes these boutique places can have an attitude, but I needed to find a gift fast. Not only were they incredibly kind, I ended up purchasing 2 additional gifts for some upcoming events. The variety in their items is immense, and I really like that they cater equally to both male and female tastes. I am definitely going back.

Bedside Manor, in Winnetka, has been my 'go to' shop for all things related to a good-night's sleep and a fabulous looking bedroom since the late 90's. From our handsome Iron Bed Frame to the gorgeous Letiner bedding, going to sleep has been heaven on earth. We have since moved from the Chicago area but each time we visit, I make a point of stopping into this amazing shop. Nancy and the staff have always gone beyond the everyday courtesy that you may or may not find in other small specialty stores. They are so attentive that I have actually purchased items over the phone and had them shipped directly to California. There are certainly shops closer to me than the Winnetka Bedside Manor but the associate's knowledge and the customer service are unsurpassed, not to mention the variety of quality items they offer. Quality items, Customer Service and a great night's sleep. What more could one ask for?

Working with Nancy was amazing. She has a great eye for design. The rest of the staff was also so sweet and helpful. My new bedroom is now the perfect sanctuary. Bedside Manor is now be my go to for great style and ultimate comfort!

This bedding store has it all! They can provide the most customized solution in the world, if that is what you are looking for and have every conceivable color, patter and style of fabric that you can imagine. If you want lower priced, off the shelf items they have that too! Again, regardless of style, they can create the bed of your dreams. If mistakes are made, they fix them. I have been using this shop for years and would not go anywhere else. I even use them for purchases in out of state residences. Ask for Nancy, she's the best!

One person who worked there was nice but they have some other sales help that is incredibly rude. I'm so lucky I live somewhere with so many choices and will take my business elsewhere in the future.
