The ladies in the pharmacy dept are just fantastic. If meds are back ordered it’s not their fault. They try to help the best they can. I want to give a shout out to Linda and the rest of the dept. THANK U ALL

Not speedy at the Rx counter but it seems like they try.

It's like pulling teeth to get prescriptions filled in a timely manor. The overly invasive app initially told me my (in stock) prescription PAIN meds would take over 24 hours to fill! What? A phone call rectified that (hence the 2 star instead of 1 star rating) but what on earth! Unfortunately this is not an isolated incident.

Easily the worst Walgreens pharmacy in the area. Pharmacy staff is exceptionally unhelpful, they’re always short staffed and put forth as little effort as possible.

Had a FedEx package delivered there for picked - they gave the package to someone else. Schlock operation. Don’t send your packages there for pickup.

I see other reviews now. I went to print out something and the staff was taking their own sweet time and it was dead quiet by the checkout. I thought they were understaffed but i was surprised to see some employees pop in and out of a door next to the print store, i don't think it is a rest room. Their print prices are much better than UPS. Please provide some training to the employee and do something to motivate them. I used to work at the Walgreens Corporate office in Deerfield and I do like Walgreens as a company.

I hope the manager or someone up in the store is reading this, The Hispanic guy with the messed up haircut who is at the upfront cashier, is doing something fishy, Today while I was checking out he took his phone out, and when I was done with my transaction, he scanned something on his phone. Completely strange thing to do. Hopefully Walgreens looks into it, who knows what he did and whom he is doing with.

Late night staff tends to avoid eye contact or acknowledging your presence so they can get you out as fast as possible. Just the way I like it.

TL;DR: Recently switched to CVS and couldn’t be happier with the results!I’ve been coming to this Walgreens for years and have been a Walgreens customer for decades, so it truly pains me to write this. I get that pharmacies have been beyond overwhelmed since COVID, and that unfortunately the staff has taken the brunt of the customer rage. But it’s been three years and Walgreens has become a shell of its former self. For starters, the pharmacy space is tiny and outdated. There is no way that area is big enough for even three employees to do their jobs efficiently. Every time I’m there, there’s someone on the phone, someone filling scripts, and the lone person left to handle both the drive thru and the counter, both of which are always busy. Walgreens is wildly understaffed, but even if they did hire more employees, there would be nowhere to put them.Because of this chaos, I have experienced truly terrible customer service. Again, I hate to write that because before COVID everyone in the pharmacy was helpful and efficient. Within the past year I’ve been hung up on with no calls back; prescriptions that used to be ready in 45 mins now take two days to fill; I’ve been sent on a wild goose chase to other locations for meds Winfield didn’t have in stock, only for the other locations to be out of stock; there have been pharmacy errors that caused my prescriptions to be delayed or declined, with nobody giving me an update unless I kept calling to check; and when you do manage to speak to someone who can help, they are so exhausted and overwhelmed that they sound like they couldn’t care less and they treat you accordingly. Not an environment I trust to handle my medication.I recently switched to CVS and it’s a breath of fresh air. Spacious, brightly lit pharmacy staffed with helpful, knowledgeable people who aren’t burnt out and genuinely want to be there. Walgreens should be ashamed of how they treat their staff and their customers. And not surprisingly, when I left after three decades of loyalty to Walgreens, nobody batted an eye. Ugh. Good riddance.

Most incompetent people ever work at that pharmacy. 2 hours for a preregistered Covid booster shot. What a joke. They couldn’t decide if they should be doing shots or take care of the drive up pharmacy window. Ridiculous.I’ll be giving ALL my business to the CVS down the road. Why did I bother to make an appointment and do the questionnaire on line if they were just going to ignore it all. What’s happened to Walgreens???Good bye Walgreens and hello.CVS.

Slowest pharmacy I've ever been to Karen is rude and lazy will never pick up a prescription here again. Sat for 30 minutes waiting for someone to help watched two pharmacists just standing around doing nothing. I've seen the line for the pharmacy reach 10 cars long+
