Waiting in line for 25 minutes only to be told that they couldn't not see me to renew my passport... that I had to set up an appointment which they could not set up for me. Said I had to do it online. Total pain and waste of time. Also, sent a package to my daughter overseas. Paid extra to get it there fast. Never arrived. Was returned to me 6 months AFTER she came home. Had asked repeatedly about it month after month but no one could tell me where it was or what the problem was. Asked for a refund but was refused. No ownership or responsibility taken. And we want to put the government in charge of our healthcare?

All my life I’ve dealt with carol steam post office..always rude people/clearly showing they hate their jobs so I expected the same level of energy at the Winfield location. Except to my surprise Winfield staff are really nice and very professional!. I made an appointment for 3 passports and Kyu was very accommodating, nice and thorough. The lady working next to him was also pleasant to everyone who came in to drop off mails or whatever.

Brought a package in with a prepaid label. Did not have tape at home, figured no big deal this is a post office that ships packages and mail, they should have tape right ? Nope! The older Asian lady would not tape my label and said I had to buy tape for $3.99 so I can tape it myself. Are you kidding me ???

2 weeks ago someone crashed their car into our cluster mailbox.Instead of arranging another way to deliver our mail, we are forced to drive to the Winfield post office and pick it up ourselves.And there was no notice to residents from USPS that that was the case.Now, I am told they are filing a claim with the insurance of the driver. And that they cannot even order a new mailbox until that claim is settled. and there is 2-4 MONTH backlog on getting cluster mailboxes installed after that.This is unacceptable. But likely nothing will be done to the incompetent people running this because they are all protected public employees. They simply don't care. And, the USPS certainly doesn't.

I live in town houses right by Central DuPage Hospital it would be nice if the mail carrier could actually give me my mail. I still get mail for people that lived there two years before me And I get everyone else's mail except my own so I wonder where all mine goes. I also just moved I filled out the paperwork to have my mail forwarded and the people that bought my townhouse are calling me telling me that they're getting my mail so something needs to be fixed at this post office it's a hot mess.

Its been 3 months and I haven't received my driver's license, tax documents, auto insurance card, or a gift a friend mailed for my birthday. I've received all my JUNK MAIL though! That's suspicious.

Just spent 15 min in line as 2 ppl couldn't get printer to work with a line of customers. They changed the paper 3 times as we stood there waiting instead of opening another computer to get people out. Obviously it wasnt the paper so i asked said i needed to go and didnt need receipt. Yet still waiting as printer was being looked at. Someone took my package (mind u all i needed was to buy big envelope) and then told me that i needed to tape on my return form. I looked at the guy and the tape next to him asking if he could tape it because i have no tape. Nor is there tape for customers to use if they needed. I was not the only one annoyed at this- my package was taken and i was given a have printed receipt (again didn't care about getting) and was told " your choice." Umm my choice was i don't care about the receipt and i just wanted to pay for envelope and leave. I totally get having issues with computer and printer but, acknowledge ur customers and maybe open another computer before u have others annoyed

I had previously filled a claim against the Winfield Post Office, but they still get it wrong! After over a year of living in Winfield, my mail repeatedly was delivered wrong. I called repeatedly, explained where my mailbox was in case of some confusion I thought there could’ve been & was told they would “notify the carriers on my route.” Time after time, still wrong, I actually filed a claim against this postal office for incorrect deliveries - and for some time we didn’t have any issues after. I noticed we stopped receiving mail this past week when we would get something at least every other day if not each day. I was awaiting my paycheck from work in the mail, and it wasn’t there & my boss was very concerned. Today I check the mail, nothing. I go outside, my mail is LAYING ON THE SIDEWALK. Come on do your jobs! This post office is by far the worse and the manager simply does nothing ever to solve the issues. The turnover rate I believe is high because each time I complain, I’m told there is a new carrier completely, or they’re just trying to not point blame to their staff members. You get paid decent to do a easy job (while physically demanding), put the damn mail in the mailbox & the correct one!!

My only issue is with one particular mail carrier that delivers on Churchill Rd. (East of County Farm Rd.) Whenever a package is delivered it is tossed onto our porch. This particular mail carrier is always on a Bluetooth headset talking on the phone. Also, we have had packages jammed into our mailbox, not only ruining the package but also the rest of the mail inside.

I've had it at this post office to send anything in a timely manner. I brought in an envelope that that to be delivered to CDH right across the street. The lab at the hospital needed it in 3 days for testing. Over a week later, I find out the hospital never received it!! I was furious. I now have to do this test over again. I will deliver to the hospital my self. I also sent out a 1099 to an individual and that was never received either. I will never send anything from here again. They are polite inside at the counter but that's about it.
