25025 Ramm Dr Unit B, Naperville“We cannot say enough about how pleased we are with the work done by Tupelo Design. We had our kitchen cabinets and island painted and the end result is beautiful. The cabinets look brand new and the change has completely modernized our kitchen. We are extremely pleased with the color match that we requested for the island. The team was fantastic and met every deadline and they communicated thoroughly. The whole team is very friendly and it was an enjoyable experience with great results.”
“Several years ago, we painted our kitchen cabinets with Annie Sloan products we bought from Di Lucca Design. Michelle was helpful then in explaining the process in order to achieve the best results. After a while, and as can happen with any painted finish, we needed to touch up the "trash can" door which takes the most abuse. Since Annie Sloan is now manufactured overseas, there is apparently a slight color variation from the Coco color we originally used. Obviously, we called Michelle to ask what to do. Not only was she able to track down a sample size of the original formula, but she shipped it out to us without an invoice. Wow! If you're looking for Annie Sloan products or help/advise for your own projects, Michelle's your gal. Thanks Michelle taking such good care of us. We really appreciate it!”

1501 Indiana Ave, St. Charles“Trend + Relic has the most unique and curated decor and furniture. Beautiful furniture pieces, vintage items, jewelry/ purses, paintings and so much more. It's located in a stunning warehouse where you could spend hours just perusing. Definitely a place to get stand out pieces for reasonably priced.”
“This is one of the Ten Thousand Villages that has an annual handmade rug event, where you can come in and see the rugs. You might find handmade rugs someplace like The Dump in Lombard, however here you can be sure it's made by fairly-paid artisans and you don't need to wonder about child or slave labor. They often have interesting jewelry which is quite affordable; miscellaneous housewares; runners/napkins/placemats/aprons etc. and hand-knit hats/scarves/mittens. They even carry fair trade chocolate bars. It's a little bit like Pier 1 used to be but with fairly-paid artisans instead of mass merchandise. There's nothing here that you need, but there is probably something here that will make you smile. Staff is very pleasant and patient when you ask them to, say, show you every rug in a three-foot stack of carpets, and if you have something particular in mind, they'll help you find something similar.”
“I recently had the pleasure of working with Ron Carter at Designer Looks/VCF, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Unlike many salespeople, Ron wasn't pushy at all. He was always available to help, offered fantastic recommendations, and truly cared about finding the right pieces for me. His professionalism and genuine desire to assist made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend him to anyone in the market looking for furniture!”
“The staff was incredibly helpful with finding the right pieces for us. Donna helped us get the measurements and even printed us out care instructions for our furniture. After all that she gave us several options for delivery and helped us organize it all. Great experience overall.”

“Maggie was very friendly, helpful, extremely knowledgeable about what products were in the outlet store. My wife and I are very happy about the trip we made to the LazyBoy outlet store and the chair we purchased. Thank you Maggie for helping us through the process.”
“By far the best thrift store I've ever been to. Crazy selection, crazy turnover rate, and good deals. The guy is fair and will negotiate with you on pricing without beating you up.I would recommend at least stopping in once so you can see what I'm talking about.”

“Such an incredible place! I was having a pretty rough day and my boyfriend decided to bring me here to help cheer me up. I felt like I transported into a magical wonderland. It felt like a safe space. I can’t wait to visit again!”
“Carolyn is a joy to work with. She helped us update our home so that it's comfortable for us, yet light and fresh for eventual resale. Carolyn listened carefully to all of our ideas and offered many options that we hadn't even considered. Her thoughtful guidance helped us with both major and minor updates to our home. She recommended many sources for materials and for tradesmen that she has vetted for her clients. Carolyn is low key and is a wealth of knowledge and experience. She really takes each of her client's needs and interests to heart. Her fees are quite reasonable and she saved us money in many areas with her expert advice. If you're looking for a first-rate experience, Carolyn is the one!”
“Our experience with Pam, the interior designer, has been wonderful! With her guidance and expertise, she steered us in the right direction and the rooms we furnished turned out amazing! She is easy to communicate with, responsive, followed through on everything, and generally provides great customer service. Can't wait to work with her again!”

“I love coming here!!! I’ve been a loyal customer of Julie since before COVID, and there’s a reason why! So many awesome gifts, if you’ve got a person with niche interests, Gather and Collect has the gift for them! Also love shopping the resale items, overall a great place to be!”
“Beautiful assortment of gift items (even if you yourself are the gift recipient). Everything is nicely arranged and fun to look at. Staff is very friendly and helpful. A joy to visit!”
“As I was walking in, 2 ladies were walking out and saying "I've NEVER been disappointed in this store", AND I COULDN'T AGREE MORE! I usually buy a little something in here to treat myself to. Their prices are usually a bit on the higher side, but it's a boutique. I walked out today with a candle, a card and a piece of super sale Christmas decor. It's a toss-up if I get greeted or not. But I feel like I always end up talking to someone that works there, so it's not that they aren't polite! I love the small business vibes especially after Naperville is being overtaken with big box stores.”
“They have a pretty excellent in-store cross stitching/embroidery section, but it seems like they're forever sold out of at least half of their DMC thread... and they never have black(310) or blanc - though Michael's was lacking in 310 as well, that's just something you have to buy online anymore. Otherwise, I was pleased to find that they actually had a decent selection of Aida cloth (and hoops, if you need them); thpugh I usually buy Aida cloth on Etsy anymore, since so few crafting stores actually carry it in the right count and color.
It is otherwise a rather huge store with all the expected things that a crafting store should carry! It did seem slightly more disorganized in product presentation than the nearby Michael's... but it's a big crafting warehouse, you can't expect perfection all the time.”
“I had the most fun here! I found a some gifts, something very special and a couple of things just for me. The sales gal, Julia was especially kind! Here a few snaps of what took my breath away!”

“Knowing the layout of the store, I found everything I was looking for. The store seemed to be short on help, but I guess that's not so uncommon since covid for many establishments.”

530 Duane St, Glen Ellyn“I’ve been to this shop twice now. First time was almost by accident and so glad I happened upon it. Second time, I had a friend visiting from Milwaukee. We drove from downtown Chicago to the shop (about 35 mins) and the shop was closed. We inquired in a neighboring shop and long story short, a wonderful neighboring retailer opened the shop until someone could get there to ring up our purchases. It is an amazing shop with great gifts (for others or yourself!) and the retailers in that little strip are second to none!! I will shop here continuously for all my special gifts!! Thanks to the owner and her amazing staff and the friendship of the neighboring shops.”
“We had a great experience shopping for a new couch at this Aurora/Naperville IL location. Karla was our salesperson and very responsive once we decided to purchase a few days later and worked with her and John over the phone. Thank you and we love the furniture.”
“Cute shop nestled between several great restaurants in the downtown Bartlett area! Great furniture pieces in there and at very affordable prices! I was very surprised how fair the prices were for the solid wood furniture!”

276 S Rte 59, Naperville“love this place! It had been awhile since I shopped here. This place is a cross between Pier1 and HomeGoods. They sell all kinds of wine and spirits! Its a cool place.”
“Agatha did an incredible job restoring and preserving my grandmother's cross-stitches. Over 30+ years, they had gotten damaged from dust and sunlight exposure. She helped us carefully remove them from their frames, advised us on how to clean them, helped us select new frames and mats (she has a wide selection of samples in store) and then remounted and framed them in a timely and meticulous manner. We enjoyed our time working with her and felt comfortable entrusting her with our family heirlooms because of her expertise and great customer service. Will definitely be back!”
