Pesty Check Engine Light went on. They got it in next day, put it on the computer found it needed a new sensor. Gave me the scientific explanation, got the part, and fixed it. Nice folks, knowledgeable, and quick along with fair prices. In and out in an hour. I’ll return when I need repairs.

I have been using Jeff and fast trax for years. You will not find a more honest and fairly priced place than this. I am a car salesmen at a dealership and I trust this guy more than my own place of work.

Jeff at Fast Trax listens to info you give him and explains options to repair. Mine was an upstream, bank 1, 02 sensor. Nice people both at the desk and mechanics. Rather give business to good mechanic locally than dealership. I'll go back if i need work in the future.Service: Engine repair

I was on my way to Chicago from Central Illinois when my car started making noise on the highway. I frantically looked up auto repair shops around me and Fast Trax was the first option that came up; I just managed to get my car into the parking lot before it completely died. Jeff looked over my car while his wife consoled me (not kidding) and broke the news that my engine was shot. Not knowing anything about cars or the area, Jeff took it upon himself to not only get a quote should he fix my car, but he looked up possible warranties and connected me with a dealership in Joliet. Oddly, but thankfully, my car was under warranty for the engine and Jeff arranged a tow to get my car to Joliet and stayed past closing to give time for my friend from North Chicago to make her way to his shop to pick me up. Jeff and his wife were the absolute best people to have met in a situation as terrible as this, and I could not thank them enough for the kindness and hospitality they showed me. I would recommend their shop to anyone.Service: Engine repair

Jeff the owner quoted me $800 to install both Exhaust Manifolds on my 01 F-150. He said the price would go up if the bolts broke and if they were hard to get out. Well every single bolt broke!! I was expecting a $1,500.00 bill for this as it took a few days to get everything out and fixed! Oh and also I got the oil changed. Went to pick up my ride and he hands me a bill for $1047.00 !! That blew me away! I have found my mechanics there at Fast Trax! What a wonderful experience!! Thank you all!! ?Service: Exhaust

Took my truck in for a blown brake line.. fixed quickly and Jeff (owner) noticed all the ball joints were worn.. took it back 2 days later, he fixed it quickly and the pricing was more than fair!! If there is something I can't fix myself then Fast Trax Automotive is the place for me!! Keep up the good work Jeff!!
