  You should go onto the City of Evanston FB page and read citizens’ response to the new complicated and costly parking fee machines. There are a lot of people saying they’re fed up and will do their shopping in downtown Wilmette instead. If the Chamber were to run a simple ad campaign in the “Evanston Roundtable” in each issue, I guarantee Wilmette business owners will thank you for it. Make sure the ad is simple and make sure it has a little tongue in cheek humor to it. (
