My car went out the night before and I was devastated because I use my car for work. My brother recommended this place, and I kid you not, they fixed my car right away. I'm so happy that my car is back up and running again and I definitely will be bringing my car back to this place in the future. Very affordable, friendly staff, and very good service.

Good guys, who mean well, but simply not up to date on some aspects of vehicle technology and somewhat unmethodical in their work, my car was running in high temperatures I thought it was overheating (I’m not a mechanic) however, they were not familiar with how the system runs on a Land Rover LR3 which, has a sensor to prevent from overheating.
They missed simple things like checking water pump, or installing a thermostat when it didn’t need one. At the end it cost me a lot of money for them not to fix it properly and when asked if they would help pay for the repair that had to be done subsequently, they never answered back.
Seems that when there is no passion or pride in work, these kind of results are to be expected.
And yes this is the facility...the picture of the shop is identical to the one where the SUV was serviced. Props for the clever response by the owner.

I had a flat tire around the block from Wilmette Auto Care. It was completely flat when I got into my car. I couldn't drive it.. The customer service was excellent. I asked if they have an electric pump for me to borrow to drive to the shop. They filled up some kind of tank and I was able to put enough air in my tire to drive around the block to the shop. The price is very reasonable to fix a flat. I totally forgot that I should rotate my tires after the car is down from the jack (or the lift?). They got it up and rotate them. Excellent service!

Ive taken my cars here several times for work. Every time Dave gets it done perfectly with never a return for anything. On time and always a fair price! Highly recommend.

This smart owner, the ultimate car guy, runs a top notch business. He knows so much about cars and it shows. He also hires talented mechanics. I'm so happy I found him. I've had terrible luck with chain mechanics because results are so unpredictable! Those days are over.

My car was making a whistling noise then one of my check engine lights came on. I pulled into Wilmette Auto Care after they closed. David kindly helped me after hours! He said he would evaluate my car and get back to me the following day. In the meantime, the car dealership called and told me the most likely problem and they could fix it the following week. The dealership warned me about auto shops trying to sell me products or services that I did not need and to beware. David called me the next morning, diagnosed the problem (same as what the dealership suggested) and that he would fix it by the end of the day! He also charged me much less than the dealership. Wow! I saved so much time, money and I gained so much peace of mind having a safe car. He was so honest, accommodating and went above and beyond to help me. I highly recommend Wilmette Auto Care and will go back here for any future needs.

Wilmette Auto Care is the preferred choice amongst the locals for their car needs - whether it's a check-up or a maintenance, the staff here seem to be very honest and competitively priced compared to other auto shops in the area. Mr. Peto tended to our vehicle, and we did a drop-off and a pick-up on the same day; the car is back to running smoothly, which is great! Getting in and out is a little tricky, as there's tons of incoming traffic; the lot is also super small and super packed (that's how popular this place is), so navigating through is also a little complicated. I've heard a lot of good things about this place so I gave it a try. I was very impressed with the service, honesty, and quick turn around. I have a car notorious for needing frequent attention and the car, unbeknownst to the mechanic, the car had received a lot of care recently. He noted the condition of the car honestly and told me the car needed nothing more done - it is very comforting to find a mechanic like this so close. I'll be using Wilmette Auto Care again.

These guys are great! I'll be taking our Kia there from now on. We needed front suspension work on our Kia. They got us in right away and had it fixed in a day. They didn't want us to risk taking a trip the way it was and didn't want us to miss the trip. The guys there are a pleasure to work with and very professional. They did a fantastic job and the car drives like new. All that and their prices are great too.
