My husband went there on my recommendation (we live in the city and were in the area) and he was skeptical that they would have what he needed. I waited in the car while he went in (he can be there for eternity) and he came back with everything on his list. He raved that they were friendly, knowledgeable and HELPFUL.He also said on the whole, the store was very clean and organized compared to the other smaller hardware stores closer to our condo.

High priced but local.Ok... Fine.Muzzled up in 2023 w/ attitude is not for this dude. I don't need attitude and platitudes when I'm buying some ready mix concrete.Ugh.

Wonderful old time full service store. ALL salespersons on the floor know locations of everything AND ready to assist unlike big chain hardware stores. Like going back in time to old hardware only with all the latest merchandise .

It's hard to find stuff here, because they have so much packed in to a relatively (by Home Depot standards) small space. So thank goodness they have the nicest staff, who will escort you around the store with a joke and a smile, offering their two cents about your repair job if you ask. Great customer service. AND THEY COPY KEYS IN THE BACK!!!

I love this place. Old-time hardware store w friendly knowledgeable staff. Especially for our older homes, if you need it, they have it. I hope residents support this gem, by giving them their business.

A treasure! Been coming here for more than 20 years. Always helpful. They seem to have everything "somewhere"... Often feels like I'm on a treasure hunt rather than a shopping trip.
