“What a great local shop for fresh meats, eggs, dairy and more! I do not know that much about different parts of meat, and employee took his time listening to what I was looking for, explained differences of parts of meat, I got to choose things suitable for my capability of cooking(im not really good at marinating and cooking We also tried a few jerkies and sausages They were so gooooood!!! I also got a beautiful freshly cut t bone steak Cannot wait to grill(on my ninja fryer grill) and feast!!!”

“Went here to buy their salad. This place it very clean and the staffs are very helpfull. I like their homemade salad. Very nice. Its not a huge place but you can find almost anything you need here. Great place.”

“Please inform customers that the refugees are harassing employees and customers, refusing job applications and purchasing alcohol with gift cards, so that the customers do not get tricked into supporting this scam. Enough is enough and something must be done.”

“Yeah, yeah, my buddy Thim told me, “Joseph! Ya gotta review this place! Hah! ??”. I said, “ho, ho, hey now… but my home base Jewel is at Plaza Del Lago ?! Heh!” So here I am, reviewing a grocery store that I don’t go in that often…. But I paid a visit about a week ago. Why, you may ask, did I stray from the Jewel Osco that I usually go to?
I was teaching my nephew how to drive. This was his first time on the road (Hey! Joseph! Why would ya take him on Green Bay for his first drive?! ?? Hah! I read a thing that immersion therapy is the best way to learn! Wait… maybe that was for language… not driving… Joseph! You’re a freak!)
I DIGRESS!
My nephew nearly blew through the red light. He hit the breaks and hit his elbow. He started crying and we pulled over. I said, “hey bud, if ya need a break that’s okay with me”. So we took a break. I realized he had an open wound on his elbow!
At this point, we were right outside of Jewel Osco. My sheep’s brain thought… what cleans an open would properly? Acid! (Don’t blame your old man… I got my philosophy doctorate… not a medical one! Heh!). So I remembered what Thim said about Jewel Osco.
“There’s really good orange juice Joseph! You must go!”
So I made my nephew run into grab the orange juice while I stayed in the car and controlled the music. When he came back, I started pouring the orange juice on the elbow. He yelled like the world exploded! Ya know, maybe a couple nerves did ?? (again, I got my degree from England, what can you expect ?).
While “Celebration” by Kool & The Gang was playing on the radio, I rushed out to grab a cookie from Jewel Osco to make my nephew feel better.
All in all, Jewel Osco has saved my life. My nephew drove us home and he felt better about the cookie. Then he got severe medical attention.”
