Dr. Moll has a wonderful style with both dogs and cats. He explains his findings and recommendations fully and in an understandable manner. He is very thorough and comprehensive.

Thank you Dr Moll and team for frequently going above and beyond to take care of Lucy, answer all my questions, and give 110% whether it's an emergency or a routine visit.

Caring staff. Thank you for making the room comforting with the blanket, candles, and music that you've now added when putting a pet to sleep. Thank you for helping Twinkle's passing a tiny bit less unbearable. The jars with the fur and whiskers were also beautiful.

Today I came here for a consult and a first time appointment for a front declaw for my cat, Wrigley. Instead of having the surgery, Dr. Moll recommended that I get nail caps for her. As of May 2023, Vets are no longer able to perform recalls unless absolutely necessary. Dr. Moll said Illinois and California are the only states that have this law. I appreciated his honesty and explanation. I bought the nail caps and so far it has been successful this evening.I wish I discovered these a long time ago, because I would have not gotten the declaw in the past for my other cats. Thanks for saving me $ and your honesty.Plus, thank you Joey for cutting Wrigley's nails this morning. You were very warm and friendly, and I think she was at ease with you!I have now switched all of my cats to them for future appointments.

I am surprised they get good reviews. The tech called my cat weak and they were extremely disrespectful towards me.My cats were very distressed for several weeks afterwards.I paid for shots then they were going to make me pay for them twice to get authorization to travel.I would not trust them with my pet. Dishonest, rude and abusive.

I chose Christiansen Animal Hospital for my mini goldendoodle’s spay procedure because they offer laser laprascopic ovariectomy (leaving the uterus in place), which research indicated would offer the fastest recovery. It absolutely was the best choice! If I had known that my dear girl would feel better so fast, I could have saved myself a lot of worry. She has IBD, so seeing her eating, drinking, and pottying well from the very first evening was a big relief. Her two incisions are tiny and healing well. She showed no signs of discomfort after the first recovery day. I highly recommend this surgical method and these vets to anyone who wants the best possible spay experience for their dog.

They take very good care of my babies every appointment. They don't try to upcharge you for unnecessary tests and I trust that they'll help my dogs whenever we need them.

My cat needed a cryptorchidectomy (surgery for an undescended testicle). I researched having it done laparoscopically and I came across Dr Moll and his extensive experience with laparoscopic surgery on the internet. After our initial consultation with Dr. Moll, I felt totally confident about having the procedure done here. Dr Moll took a lot of time explaining the entire procedure and what I should be expecting. He is very caring, patient, and extremely knowledgeable! The entire staff was kind and helped put me at ease. I actually can't say enough good things about my experience at this clinic and especially with Dr. Moll!

They sent me all the respective links and portals to get set up way in advance. I had asked my current practice to send them the paperwork in advance, which did not happen, but I had the information of what was required. What I really appreciated about Christensen is the amount of TIME the Vet spent with my dog for the first visit and the thorough examination he extended. Spoke to me about the Dogs diet, his activity level, and checked her for skin irritations, fleas, etc.

I recently brought my Golden Retriever there on very short notice. They were able to get her looked at and did all the necessary work. They were responsive with the many questions I had and easy to work with. I definitely trust them to care for my dog and highly recommend them.

I'm surprised to see some of these reviews, because I've never had anything but terrific care and compassion here at Christensen with my dog, Chuck. He has been very well cared for during his normal exams, to his illnesses, to his surgeries (dental cleanings and he had his spleen removed). All care has been explained in detail, costs have been provided up front and accurately, and my pet is always happy to come here. They also don't try to upsell you anything and have even tried to find ways to help ease costs associated with his medications. I am VERY pleased with the level of care he receives and would recommend this hospital to anyone!

Poor communication and overcharged. I was surprised to see I got changed an extra $100 for an additional test I had no knowledge of and did not approve. They did not give me a receipt after my appointment, I had to email them about it. When I got the receipt and saw the charges, I promptly emailed them asking what these charges were and if there was a test, what were the results?? After speaking to them on the phone, they said they’ll look into it and let me know. No email or call back. We had a follow up vax appointment and I asked about it again. They said there was a test done and could not refund the charges.First time coming here after moving to the area and I will not be coming back. The vaccines were twice as expensive as my past vets (Elmhurst and Roscoe Village, Chicago) and their communication is terrible. If a vet thinks it’s in the animal’s best interest to have an extra test, fine, but that needs to be communicated to the owner along with how much it will cost so that the owner can actually consent to the test (or whatever it may be) or decline it. Especially if it’s not anything urgent or immediately life threatening. Which in my case, it was not.I was 99% sure the bump on my dogs leg was a standard fat lump dogs get as they age and told the vet that. I had believed that was part of the regular checkup by the way he communicated. The only thing he said regarding it was that the dump “seems to be normal” and that I should “still keep an eye on it”. Nothing that suggested a literal test result or findings from the cells sample.Other reviewers have mentioned lack of communication and being over charged as well. Unfortunately, I agree with them and will have to find a different vet in the area.

I bring all three of my fur babies to Christensen. All three see Dr. Jennifer Cichon. Both of my dogs are rescues and the vet can be a extremely stressful time for them. Dr. Cichon has been more than competent in her care and the Techs all incredibly kind and knowledgeable. My dog Mishka recently began the second stage of her heartworm treatment with Dr. Cichon. She and her staff took wonderful care of Mishka while she had her first injection of Immiticide. In the following days the front desk, Dr. Cichon, and the techs have helped guide me through her recovery and have been there to support Mishka in any way they can. I truly recommend this practice. I can see the staff truly cares for my pets and their well being. I am very appreciative of them for being there in my pets time of need and support.

The poor management at this animal hospital risked the safety my animal. The doctor seemed really knowledgeable and contacted me after hours, which is the only positive aspect of this place. On multiple occasions, I was told I would receive calls for updates on my animals status and care, before/after procedures, and test results. The staff did not contact me once. I had to actively call multiple times to get any information. My animal was kept at the hospital all day for two procedures and only received one. I had to wait over 24 hours after test results came back for someone to call me to provide me those tests results.

All vets are highly competent and caring. The office is well run and the vet techs are also kind and great. They are doing a great job managing appointments during this time of COVID, too.
