This groomer does not know or care how to correctly cut dogs' nails, and also overheard him yelling at a dog while grooming them.He cut the majority of my dog's nails (mostly light colored with easily visible quicks) much too short - so much so that one of the nails on my dog's rear paw was still bleeding sluggishly when I took him home after his haircut (leaving blood marks on my floors and bedspread), and another nail on a front paw started bleeding during his evening walk 3 hours later, even though I'd put on balloon boots in the effort to protect his too short nails. When I contacted the groomer after first picking up my pup and noticing the blood, he apologized and said he didn't notice otherwise he would have put on qwikstop, said I could come back so he could apply it, so I did. When I expressed my upset to him in person and asked if he could offer compensation for making my dog bleed, he scoffed a laugh at me and said no, insisting that "it happens all the time," it's not a big deal and "it doesn't hurt the dog."I don't know if he was outright lying to my face or if he is ignorant of the fact that the quick is nerve and absolutely, 100% hurts the dog if it is cut, and can even result in infection or nerve damage if cut too deep. Either way, it is completely unacceptable for a dog groomer. Also unacceptable is a groomer who yells at dogs while grooming them - which is what I walked in on when I first came to pick up my dog. He talks to dogs in a very kind and cutesy way in front of customers, so it was pretty shocking to hear him yelling at one of the dogs when he wasn't expecting a customer to be there. I feel so awful thinking that he likely yelled at my pup while grooming him too, let alone making him bleed. And seeing now an older review saying a similar thing about the yelling, I do not believe it was a one-off thing but likely a regular behavior.

Paul is awesome! You can totally tell he loves and understands dogs, my pit mix won't even let the vet touch his toes but Paul has no issues trimming his nails. We come in from the city every few weeks for a bath and nail trim and it's totally worth the trip, easy to book and more affordable/better quality job than the box stores. My dog comes out happy, clean, and smelling amazing :)) Easy 5 stars

Every time we take out huskies here Paul does an excellent job with blowing out their coats, smell fresh and clean. He always makes time for my dogs on a Saturday. And once Sunday before the holidays. We highly recommend bringing any dog here

My family has been taking our pups here for years and have always spoken highly of Paul and his work. After a long road trip from Nevada, my long-haired Siberian Husky was in desperate need of a spa day. I've taken her to several places which would turn me down (bc...as stated- she is a long-haired husky and takes a looong time to groom). My brother brought Akira here while I was out of town and I'm SO impressed with how great she looks!! Her coat is so soft and shiny and her paws no longer have long chunks of hair popping through. Even Akira is happy with the results. Thanks Paul!

I just took my yorkie/border terrier mix, Ella, to Paul for grooming for the second time yesterday. He is so sweet to my dog and remembered her right away even though it had been months. He was able to schedule me in quickly and Ella looked like a brand new dog when I picked her back up a short time later! She looks adorable and even better, she smells AMAZING!!

I never write reviews but i felt like this was so unnecessary and i would review his blowing off our hard to get appointment. I have an autoimmune compromised 6 month old puppy whom i have had my vet and neurologist advise can not be around dog parks, boarding nor pet groomers with other dogs because of possible exposure. She is a very sweet lovable and very fluffy aussie doodle and in desperate need of a haircut and i asked for last in the day appointment where there would be no other dogs in waiting. He agreed and gave me an end of day appointment for which i took day off work . On day of appointment he said he booked those slots and would not be able to accommodate her and then complained to me (again after i took the day off) that he was just too busy to take on the request to keep her away from other dogs. Very rude and very unprofessional in my opinion. I get that people are busy but he did book me in and then cancelled only when i called to confirm. I would give him zero stars if i could. I am busy person too and i just think his unprofessionalism needed to be called out.

Oscar loves coming and getting groomed here. He always looks great even when we have left him so fluffy from a long winter and come for a Spring cleaning, he always looks fresh and smells clean.

This is such a great grooming salon. Our dog, Coco, is always a bit nervous about going to the groomer and/or vet. Paul is so kind, our dog really likes being with him. And she comes home looking terrific.

Only one of about 5 different paper towels/gauze pads used to try and stop our lab's paw from bleeding after getting his nails trimmed here. He's an older dog who already has trouble walking, but had to excessively lip and keep weight off of his paw. Occasionally dogs nails might bleed a little after getting clipped but it should not be this much. We have had incidents with Beauty and the Beast's nail trimmings in the past but always let it slide. We will NOT be getting his nails trimmed here again.
