Made an appointment online for a flu shot for myself and my family. Got there and they couldn't find our reservation, despite our email confirmation. I then get a call from the CVS Pharmacy (which is right next to the MinuteClinic in the Target- SAME ADDRESS. And they are asking me why am I not at my appointment? We were literally standing right there. These are 2 different pharmacies in the Target, same address. My confirmation said BOTH minute clinic AND CVS. How do you expect people to know the difference? And then they told me that the Blue Cross Shield site was down so they couldn't verify my insurance (which is different than the rest of my family) so they could not do my flu shot. I left straight from there and went to Walgreens. They used my insurance and I got my flu shot right away with no problems.

I made an appointment ahead of time, showed up when I was supposed to and waited for close to 30 minutes to be seen. What the heck is the point of making an appointment if you aren’t going to honor the time

Called ahead. Told to come it was a walk-in and had open slots until 7:30. Showed up at 5:30. NP saw me attending to check in and having issue with their check-in tool. No greeting nor asking if I needed help or if was here for appointment. Monitor clearly stated there were open slots until closing. . One appointment in front of me took 35 mins. NP walks out - looks at me and just in rude condescending way says” I couldn’t be there for her as she’s not accepting slots” I point out that the monitor said differently and shared I called ahead. Cold response back. I left along with my business and that of family in future. Plenty other options.

I called Minute Clinic in Willowbrook, Il to make an appt. Told staff I had stepped on a nail puncturing the bottom of my foot. OK come in for tetanus shot. Dr. and nurse who was student nurse practioner looked at bottom of my foot at puncture wound then proceeded to give me the tetnus shot. Because whichever one of them that was charting neglected to document that I had stepped on a nail and that was reason for visit I am now stuck with a $69 bill because medicare will not p

Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to be seen! My appointment was scheduled for 2:30p. I received an email to arrive and wait in my car to be called. I did as instructed. After a 30 min wait in the parking lot still no call. I came in saw my name on the list to be seen but no one came out. Did some shopping in hopes to be called still nothing. I then checked out left the store and when I made it home at 4pm I received an email stating my appointment had been canceled. By who? Clearly I was there to be seen. What a waste of my time . Thanks for nothing .

Being sick is the absolute worst but my experience at CVS MinuteClinic today made me feel so much better! The nurse practitioner, Shannon, was SO nice and empathetic. It is like she knew I felt terrible and took extra good care of me. My visit was completely covered by my insurance with only a $30 copay. (I do recommend verifying with your own insurance company) The visit was quick from start to finish, about 30 minutes, and she sent my prescription directly to the pharmacy right next to the MinuteClinic. In the event that I cannot get into my doctor, I will definitely be back! (Hopefully not soon though, no one likes to be sick!)

I was hesitant to go here for relief because - well, it's Target and what should I expect. However my insurance company encourages this as the best option for a simple cold vs waiting for an appt with PCP. When I arrived and realized it was former CVS I had more confidence. I was wrong. I arrived and after completing what felt like a million questions at a kiosk I was seen by a care practitioner. I was uncomfortable that she could catch whatever I had (a very bad cold I figured, but it had lingered 4 weeks by the time I bothered to do something) because she was pregnant and not wearing gloves or a mask or seeming to take any precautions for her own health. She tested me for strep throat which I was certain I didn't have (requiring I pay for this unnecessary test). She finally put a mask on and told me to simply wait it out (without conducting any other sort of assessment). Really?! She didn't even recommend something OTC and I was quite uncomfortable. Oh, and now I had to pay a $20 copay. 2 weeks later I was still sick (and went elsewhere) and 2 more weeks later I get a bill for ~$80 more. I was very angry this visit resulted in absolutely nothing except to lighten my wallet by approximately $100. I will never go to another Target CVS Clinic.

This was the worst place ever! Arrived at 6pm and checked in with a kiosk (try typing in a million things on a giant flat touch screen that is in front of your face, not where your hands are). Kiosk indicated the wait would be 61 minutes. Fine, busy time of day, I'll go home and come back. I requested the 30 min text reminder, which came at 6:47pm. Went back to clinic and arrived at 7pm. Waited until 7:29pm, when the practitioner came out to tell me that they close at 7:30pm and she would not be able to see me. She said I wasn't there, so she couldn't notify me sooner. I told her I was there since 7pm, and besides that my phone number was in the appointment. She blamed a computer glitch. I didn't even ask why she couldn't stay past 7:30pm to take care of a patient, as it seemed irrelevant by that point. She wasn't too bright, extremely impersonal (the kiosk was friendlier) and I had decided there was not going to be a good outcome. Left and had to go to a real urgent care center across the street. By the way, Midwest Express Clinic across 75th St is pretty good! Busy, but at least the people are nice!

Service is a huge rip-off. Nurse was very stand-offish and gave me attitude when I didn't answer a question how she wanted it, even though I was clearly feverish and miserable. Cut me some slack! I had a 103.3 fever, to which she claimed if it was over 103 that they were forced to refer me and couldn't examine me. The dr I went to at an urgent care right after laughed and said that's not a real policy, and that strep throat definitely could be diagnosed and treated at a clinic. Just really unhappy with her attitude, intolerance, and inability to do anything but take my money. Note- she charged me $89 to take my blood pressure and temperature... Will never go to a Minute Clinic again!

I had an amazing experience. The nurse who helped me (Shannon) was one of the nicest nurses I've ever encountered; sympathetic, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure she did the best she could for my situation. I'll definitely be coming back to this location!

Wow.. the nurse was nice.. but crap.. they charge 3x's the amount as Walgreens. I had a TB test done and it was $35. Then when I went back to get the results I had to pay another $30. I mean wtf.. 3 of my coworkers went to Walgreens for same thing. $22.50 for the test and when they went there was no extra charge.. just crazy!!!! Never will go back to use there service.. just a rip off..
