Prices have gotten a bit out of hands

I have been a customer here since 2024. Since Jan 2025, the prices have been unreasonably expensive (given the fact that items were donated freely)!
The change of management doesn't help either as I bought glassware the other day and when I requested (as it has always been) to be put into boxes so they don't break during my transist home , I was told they no longer give boxes for glassware even though I saw someone haul away a cart full of empty boxes.
Yesterday, an item in which the original price was sold for 98c was sold for 99c ! Didn't notice it and can't return it due to its non-return policy.
Dear Goodwill, not everyone is buying items to resale. Some of us really need those items and can't afford high prices!
Thank you

A year ago I would have given this store 5 stars. But they have stopped offering weekly 50% off specific color pricetags and become less organized and more messy. Today, I noticed that their dishware is so pricariously stacked that browsing is nearly impossible. It looks like any moment dishes will come crashing down.
I used to go to this store for fun. Not now. What happened, Goodwill?

It’s very dark and gloomy in there. They sell a lot of junk! There’s better at garage sales. Staff was rude and unfriendly.

Good location. Friendly staff & they signed me up for a rewards account when no other locations did.

Donation collector was rude and had to be chased down to get a receipt.

I was looking for a place to shop, but thanks to the many comments on here saying how rude the employees were. I will not be shopping here. I guess get better employees?

If I could give ZERO stars I would!! Rudest bunch of employees I’ve ever encountered. Ever!! It was 650pm and I was running into grab an old sheet and blankets and an employee stopped me walking in saying they close in 5 mins. I said ok I’m grabbing a blanket. I can hear then relentlessly ushering everyone to the front. So now we are all standing there and I decided to
Run and grab the dog toy basket I saw bc there’s 3 ppl in front of me. I barely grab it and turn around and this guy is telling me I won’t be able to check out bc I’m not at the register. I said there was a line I’m going there now and he said there’s no line and arguing me. Well I get up there and there’s a line. And he’s huffing and puffing as he’s walking by me. The only nice person was the old lady that checked me out. If I was the manager they would be gone in a heart beat.

So sad! This used to be a great Goodwill store-clean, well lit, organized, lots of items. I haven't been in since Christmas and they ruined the store! Very dark and dingy, like half of the ceiling lighting was removed! All clothing moved to front of store, all housewares now jammed in the back of the store in half the space it used to be. No rhyme or reason to the store at all!

Today I saw how an employee removed all the clothes that had the 50 percent discount for the back to take away the discount.

Luis, the cashier, does a great job of doing as little as humanly possible. Last week he never told me about my rewards or my birthday discount nor did he do that today. Never offered to wrap my plates. And you prices are a dollar more than the Goodwill on North Ave.

The cashier rounded up my total even though I said no. I wonder how many other people have had that done to them. Also like all Goodwill just about everything is overpriced.

The store is organized and has good options, however there is an older white woman working here who is extremely rude. I've worked in fast food, retail, etc. and have dealt with all kinds of people but she was being rude for absolutely no reason. A customer asked the worker for a changing room and then asked if the worker needed help picking something up that she had dropped and worker said "No. Leave me alone don't touch me!" in an extremely rude tone. Anyone who asked for a changing room she would sigh loudly at. I don't like to make things about race but she was being extremely nice to any white people, thanking them several times, but rude to anyone else. I was nervous to even ask for a changing room. Really odd and me and the other customer looked at each other like wth??
