“Let me give you a small breakdown of this place. Conveniently tucked away off the beaten path but very accessible. I was searching around for a reputable body shop as everyone knows, it's better to have one and not need it, than to need it and not have one.I called around for a few places but the caveats were, timing and quality, not to mention price. Usually you can only get two of the latter with the other being sacrificed. I found First Performance through a Google Search and I'll admit, at first I wasn't sure since I haven't heard of this place and I've been around the automotive world for well over a decade. However, I wanted to give them a call. First time I called, Ms. Slim picked up and she was extremely friendly and informative, asked me to drop the car off on an upcoming Friday just to get what I wanted done examined. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it that day so the following Monday I called again and someone else picked up the phone and told me to stop by after 9:00 AM. Let me preface and tell you this was the week of Thanksgiving, so imagine the backlog on this.I showed up promptly at 9:15 AM, walked in and was greeted by two gentlemen, I wasn't sure of the other guy's name but the one who I spoke with his name is Jerry. Jerry in facts runs the place along with Ms. Slim and he came outside and listened to what I was asking for and his professionalism, engaging personality and knowledge really put me at ease knowing that my vehicle would be in good hands.Not to mention, this car was fairly new to me, and it wasn't meant to be out on the roads in colder weather just due to performance summer tires. Regardless, he was able to squeeze me in within an hour or so, and I was patiently waiting at that point.The following day, I received a call from Jerry directly indicating my car was finished. I know he mentioned it would be "likely" done prior to Thanksgiving, however I was very understanding with the holidays that anything could come up, and I didn't expect a business to drop all their work just to work on my car. I doubt they did, but know Jerry and his team did help me out with this.I showed up later that evening, saw Ms. Slim, Jerry and their team and was presented my car. Literally perfect, I couldn't have asked for a better turnaround, overall experience and price to match it all. The paint, which is very difficult to match (tri coat metallic pearl), was done flawlessly.The end results, speak for themselves. I will be referring any and all to this shop as they've earned my business tenfold. Thank you Jerry, Ms. Slim and FPAB team!”

“I have used this company twice now and let me tell you, they NEVER disappoint!!! Adele is the INCREDIBLE!!! He is super friendly, professional and very knowledgeable!! His prices are affordable and he’s always looking for ways to save you money! My car sits low to the ground (sports edition) and I must have caught the bumper on some ice or snow (you know how Chicago winters can be brutal) and my bumper and one exhaust pipe was hanging down, almost scrapping the ground. “I will start off by saying what brought me to this establishment, the reviews. They were everything I wanted to see in a body shop. From the time I walked in to the time I picked up my car, I didn’t have one complaint. Quite the contrary. I can’t say enough good things about this body shop. You walk in to a welcoming warm entrance to be greeted by the employees. The secretary’s were very nice and accommodating. Ask for Jeff, he is the service writer/estimator. He will greet you and go out and look at your car and talk you through what needs to be done and then will do the estimate for you. So you can go and check prices if you feel the need. I just had him do the work. I was so impressed and confident my car was in the best of hands. I didn’t even try to go somewhere else to see if I could get a lower price. There pricing anyway seemed more than fair. I’m glad I chose them. Jeff is courteous, confident, kind and knowledgeable. He has an amazing team to do the repairs and paint. They call you to give you updates on the progress or if there are delays. The car looks no less than showroom quality. It looks brand new. I take real pride in my car and am very fussy about how it looks and trust me, this is the place to have your car worked on. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I could see my reflection in the paint. It was flawless. I also couldn’t believe the turn-around time. This is the place.!!!
