“I went for an interview/ application and I spoke with the property manager.She was a pleasure to chat with. It's not very often that you meet a manager that really knows her job and has a very good grasp of maintenance aspects of the property as well.I learned many things about Heartland that pleasently surprised me. It's a family owned business and are people oriented. with many employees benefits, and they believe in giving back.It's the type of company I would like to work for. . The property looked very nice and well kept. The layout that she showed me looked up to date and modern with many stylish touches . I learned about the on going improvements and updates that are in progress. I've had experience w/ property management company's as an employee and as a vendor of specialized services and this company is unique.”
“Best apartment building in Oak Park, by far! Beautiful property and apartments with every amenity one could want; a super-friendly, helpful staff; and a wonderful, welcoming diverse community. Frequent planned activities for socializing, including a lovely holiday party last night with great food and beverages to accommodate everyone. Special shout-out to Ghadeer and Akya at the front desk; they go above and beyond to make the Albion special.”
“Love living here! It’s very pet friendly and in a safe area. The units are spacious with new appliances. The white cabinets are gorgeous. The garage is connected to the apartment building, so you don’t have to go outside to get into the apartment. Maintenance is very fast. Every time I had an issue they came within 24 hours. My cats love it here too.. The amenities are great - the fitness center is new and renovated. The only thing I wish they had was a printer and an ice machine. Oak park is a lovely area as well, and just a quick drive away from Chicago. The downtown area has lots of great restaurants like Kyuramen and a Target within walking distance. Costco is also only 10 minute drive.”
“Spacious apartments, covered parking, great courtyard for hosting friends and family, great cinema room for movies with friends, and great access to the metra and downtown elmhurst. Friendly staff and helpful maintenance. Rent increase was fairly significant considering initial rent was already high and front desk does not really ever answer the phone but they are responsive in person and via email.”

“I’ve been living at The Marq for about two weeks so far and things have been wonderful. As a native to Chicago, I’ve been living in Arizona for the last ten years. I must say… it feels like HOME here. Our unit is bright and airy and super quiet. The neighbors/residents Ive met so far are all extremely friendly and welcoming. Sydney and her team in the leasing office have been fabulous and super responsive any time I have a question. Marcos in maintenance was also awesome and handled my two requests quickly. Thank you, Sydney and Marcos! I look forward to a long life at The Marq!”

“I have lived here for a year now and I'm honestly shocked to read some of the negative reviews. The staff here is great. Maintenance is always prompt and thorough. Apartments are spacious. If you see any type of bug, even a gnat, they respond promptly with professional exterminators. It seems a lot of people complaining here are really just mad at the way other residents behave or treat the property which the management only has so much control over. They clean common areas weekly.They keep the pool clean and crystal clear. They address any issues immediately. I did have a loud next door neighbor but that's not the management fault that the couple couldn't get along lol they moved out and my new neighbor is quiet. But we can't really blame management for other people's behavior or for how thin the walls are. They didn't build the place. Anyways I would highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a nice apartment. The prices are better than others around with much smaller apartments and no pool or gym. My only complaint is that I wish they would fix the potholes on the lot because people who don't live here don't know where to avoid them and I do have to warn my guests about them. Other than that, it's a really nice place to live with lots of friendly neighbors.”

“Avant has a great staff, Kyle and Mary both treat residents with the same enthusiasm as they do new people looking to move in. Also they have monthly get togethers for the residents, the ones that I have made it to have all been fun.”

“Was EXACTLY what I needed after a long night out. The bed was very comfy and inviting. The shower and water was SUPER hot which I loved, and overall, everything was pretty clean! My small gripe was the small bundle of baby ants that lingered right by where the fridge was, but other than that? I'll make that a place to stay for sure in the future.Rooms: Nicer looking than I expected!”

“I want to take the time out to post here about my experience here in Green Oaks. I have been here for 6 years now and moved in when I got divorced. It took some time to get in because there were steps that were followed and now I see. The area here is quiet, very convenient to major highways and great schools. Denise and Tamekia will take that extra step to make sure things are getting done when work orders are out in. We all know everything isn’t going to be perfect and things will break but the time to get these things fix is done in a timely matter and I haven’t had any complaints with repairs. I do know they make sure their residents are happy by taking that extra step if needed. All the units has been updated to the modern look. I’m very please living here as I just signed my lease again.”

She tries her best to make sure she is explaining the process of your application. She is very thorough and just overall an amazing asset to this company . Even if we don’t end up here at iron gate I had to leave a review for her she is amazing!!!!!!”
“So I must say, when I initially moved in city view last December I was having a whirlwind of problems. Unfortunately the buildings prior management up and walked out. Well, that changed all because Mrs.Kimberly Basley, I came in the office as a new tenant, very and I mean very hostile and aggitated and she assessed the situation and when everyone else in the office looked clueless what to do and help. She grabbed me and pulled me in her office calmed me down by re assuring me things will be taken care of and not did she only say she would. She did. If it wasn’t for Kim I would not of stayed at city view the whole year and she’s been a pleasure and honestly a blessing to have at city view. So thank you Kim and I thank you for the year I spent here.-TJ”

“I had lived here for a little bit over a year and overall I liked living here. Staff have been nice and helpful. Once you understand the quirks of the building and how things work this is a pretty nice place to live. People here are nice. It is also a nice location around restaurants and malls.The only issues I had would be that the elevators do have issues and laundry machines break. The main issue would be that when switching from heat or to a/c a lot of the time it is warm outside still and the higher levels will get really hot.”
“I been renting my unit for 5+ years and I never had an issue. Rocio, Matt, and the maitenance people are great. The upkeep of the properties are better than other places I have rented. Snow is cleaned, parking lot, sidewalks and stairs are salted in winter, grass is kept green and trimmed on other seasons. Great neighborhood and schools. And the neighbors do not bother anyone. One of the best property management companies around in my opinion.”
