After having my baby I was diagnosed with diastasis recti, a condition where your abdominal muscles separate. I searched locally to find a physical therapist and came across the Antares Institute. I scheduled a meeting with a physical therapist to discuss my condition to see if there was any hope to pull back together my abdominal muscles. The physical therapist at Antares Institute was optimistic that I would see results after physical therapy, electronic stimulation and at-home exercises. With regards to the cost I was told that my insurance should take care of the majority of it. After the first month of physical therapy sessions, electronic stimulation and doing the at-home prescribed exercises I notice zero results. I received my first bill in the mail totaling over $1,000. I was concerned at the cost but wanted so much to be able to fix my stomach. Not to be deterred, I remained hopeful and I continued the regime for several months. After 13 sessions spanning several months and doing the at-home exercises, I again had zero results. I spoke with my therapist and was told that surgery would be my only option. I wish that I was told this at my first meeting! I received a second bill from Antares Institute totaling over $2,000. Due to the delay in billing and submitting to my insurance company I didn’t know what was covered. As it turns out my insurance company did not pay for any of the therapy. I was later told by a physician that my diastasis recti cannot be fixed with physical therapy only through surgery. The physical therapist at Antares Institute should have told me that my condition was not correctable through physical therapy. Instead they gave me false hopes and left me with over $2,000 in medical bills. It was an absolute waste of time and money at the Antares Institute!

If you are a woman dealing with pelvic floor issues, Liz and her team are the best!! I've been to about seven pelvic floor therapists over the past 10 years and Liz and her team are the only ones who have been able to help me. After 20+ years of dealing with endometriosis, pelvic muscle spasms and other issues, I firmly believe I am finally on the right track! Thanks Antares!!

I'm so happy I found Antares Institute. I've had physical therapy at a few different places. But this one I must say was the best. The ladies at the front desk are very welcoming and helpful. While anyone of the therapist in back really help you with the issues that you are there for. Those people out there that know about having back surgery, you know that this is a very big decision. All of the ladies in this office played a role in helping me get prepared and ready for my surgery. The strength gains and the weight loss has gotten me in the best shape I've been in years! I couldn't be more happier for choosing to go here! Big shout out to the ladies of Antares Institute! Five Stars in my book all day everyday!
