It's been three years now since VT Services repaired my laptop and it's still kicking strong. At the time, they not only fixed my mother board promptly at a good price, but also solved a less critical problem I had been having as well without charging extra. The alternative from the manufacturer HP was to have them repair it for almost the same amount as the purchase price. I can recommend them highly.

About 3-4 months ago, my team and I were introduced to VT services. Our department facilitates technology support for a School District. We were in need of a company or service that could handle hardware repairs specifically for our MacBooks. I was connected directly to Stephanie who is a Customer Rep. From the start of our interactions I could tell instantly that she would be a great help and resource for our needs. Stephanie if you're reading this, you're awesome! With respect to VT Services' repair quality and shipping. I'll give it 10/10. Consistent communication, regular updates, and high quality repairs. Never need to send anything back, and they even clean the devices! You guys are great, this company deserves recognition and all the cool points. Take pride in what you do and it'll take you far. Thank you all.

From reviews and my own personal experience, it is pretty clear that most people don't choose VT Services, but instead end up there through warranty claims, and it's no wonder that's the case. My laptop was in for the same repairs twice over ~2 months, with the repair cost totaling about 80% of the laptops cost. Pretty disappointing and frustrating to have had similar issues with the laptop twice after repairs (with a lengthy 2 weeks total of ground shipping both times). Mistakes happen, and new problems arise though, so I was not too upset here, but after the second repair the laptop came back with a new dent in it. The packaging materials were all in good-to-great condition, making it difficult to believe that it might have occurred in shipping (and even if it did, the only thing that'd tell me is that the shipping materials used were inadequate). So, I contacted VT Services the next day to see what the options were for this. VT Services was quick to deny the possibly of the dent being their fault, and largely came across as trying to "strong-arm" me into accepting the dent, or otherwise going through a lengthy process of shipping insurance claims which still may not result in a repair. I was also informed that the exit photos showed no signs of the dent. I requested to see these exit photos, and never received a response. And even with these photos, I still wouldn't know if the damage had occurred after photos being taken and before being packaged for shipping. In reference to the dent, VT Services also told me that they could not repair something that was not broken. Can you imagine lending someone your car, only to have it returned with new scratches and dents and being told "well it's not broken, so I can't fix it"? Then I moved to contacting the warranty company about it. When the warranty company contacted VT Services, VT tried claiming that the original first repair had the dent present and they had wanted to repair it, but were denied by the warranty company. Yet VT Service had also been confident they had photo evidence of this dent not existing when the laptop last left them. Overall, I am just left amazed by the entire repair process here. My laptop spent 4 weeks total in shipping and had repairs that came to around 80% of the laptops cost and left it with new dents. It's also amazing how many reviews share the same story here of long repair times and new damage, while VT Services hides behind the excuse of being a warranty repair middleman.

Via Warrantech, my MSI laptop was sent out to VT Services for faulty fan bearings. I was very discouraged after reading the bad reviews and quite worried. But, after a very fast turnaround time I got the laptop back today. Zero issues and back to it's original condition. My laptop was returned in the same original box I sent it in, courteously cleaned, and put in a sealed bag as well. Thank you to the VT Services team!

VT Services was disappointing at best. I bought my laptop through newegg and it required repair. So my laptop was shipped to them. It took them three days just to check what the problem was (Keyboard problems, and a battery issue) Once they recieved approval, they forgot to order the parts, and it was only after over a week of no updates did I call and they tried to blame it on the Corona Virus (Honestly, it was almost laughable) But by the next day, they put the order in and strangely enough it would take normal shipping time of 3-5 days. It has now been four weeks and now I'm waiting for it to be mailed back, because despite saying they would have it returned to me as quickly as possible, it's a 7 day delivery. So even if they make a mistake, they won't put out the extra 10 dollars for the expedited shipping that they should have. I still don't even know how it works and I almost dread it with the unprofessional level of this company. Maybe next time I will reconsider buying from Newegg. Best Buy's geek squad is so much better!

Does not communicate or work in a professional manner in my experience. Should not be used by large corporations. I wish this company better success in the feature, but you have to get organized. I can't see the extent of this issue but do your research about the materials and parts you're handling, for your health too, maybe take a workshop course and maybe a lab safety course for technicians in your field. Always be open to learning, technology is ever changing, mistakes happen, we all think we know our field best, but we forget more than we realize. The company should pay for these services for the employees, but may not. Good luck to you all, and all the people you affect.

Their service was quick, but not very thorough. I purchased an extended warranty when I purchased my laptop. The services are now being provided through this company. I had two keys that were sticking. When it was returned, they stuck a little less, but as I continue to use it, they continue to stick. I'm not sure they did anything buy clean it. I was told they would replace the keyboard.

Well, It did not go. Had an appointment with Nino and he came out. He needed his floor person (Chris) to come out for an accurate estimate. Two appointments were made and both times he was no show and no call. Never got the estimate because they did not even show up for the appointment. No show - No call - guess No GO!

From my experience VT Services is better at breaking my laptop than fixing it. The warranty company I was given through Newegg sent my laptop to VT for repairs. I got my laptop back and the screen was fixed, but now the audio jack and USB port on the right side didn't work anymore. I called the warranty again and they said my laptop had to be sent back to VT Services. I do that, and my laptop came back with one corner dented and crushed to the point where it was cracked open. I made more calls, and VT Services customer rep said the technician never reported the damage so they have to file a shipping claim, but it may be too late. VT Services keeps sending my laptop back in worse condition and I'm still waiting on some claim they failed to submit. I'm afraid that by the time they get it together my warranty will have expired.

These people are completely incompetent. I also had the AIG extended warranty, and found them to be unethical and just generally slimy. I had a motherboard issue, and they found a few water spots. AIG rightfully rejected the claim, and let VT know they should ship my laptop back as of 11/8/17. I called VT to see what their repair costs might be, and they quoted over $1k which was insane and definitely focused on replacing the whole motherboard vs. trying to fix the water damage which most others would attempt. I asked them to send back and I'd go elsewhere. It's 11/16/17, and they still haven't sent my laptop. I hope no one goes here out of choice, and I pity those that need to use them for their warranties.

I really do not like giving poor ratings but I can't help but not. Acer laptop, powers off randomly. I am an IT tech and deal with this stuff all the time... anyway go through Newegg get a claim and have the laptop sent off. It comes back, I charge it up and like described it powers back off. GREAT I say. I send it back again, it returns, description says no problem found. I rinse, repeat with same results. I video taped the problem and copied the log files and will be submitting along with laptop this time. Why do I have to do their work for them?! Newegg dropped them for a provider and I guess I know why. I am equally upset with Newegg for their handling of this also. I called them and they wiped their hands clean saying the warranty was not theirs so I had to deal with it... I am beyond furious at this point.

Look at all their recent reviews, since 2012 only 1 good review, says a lot about the services rendered. As some others, purchased laptop from Newegg, sent off for repair with VT services. Upon receiving my computer back the outer case had been scratched all over. They had replaced my computer top case with a white case, though my computer is black, so computer is now half black and white. I was told that white was the only part available, but a simple online search shows lots of places that carry a black top case, so they won't be honest with you. They also didn't properly install my mousepad and it is loose and rattles in the casing(which wasn't even an issue before), as well as leaving a dent in my mousepad. How they managed to pull that off is beyond me. Upon contacting VT services they told me to contact Servicenet AIG.

Had my computer serviced by them. Came back not able to read hard drive. Sent it back to them and they told me nothing was wrong. Just got it back and still can not read the hard drive. They obviously do not know how to do work their and will highly recommend going ANYWHERE else.

Very bad, lazy and unorganized. I had a claim open by AIG as a part of CDW extended warranty. I was supposed to receive an empty box with prepaid label to ship back my defective MAC Book. When I called VT Services, they said my claim number doesn't exist in their system and AIG has to dispatch it. When I called AIG, they put me on hold and called VT Services and then Oooops!" "Bingo... they found my claim number and they started the lengthy process. At the end a whole was wasted waiting just for the label. Now need to wait for the item to be delivered to them, repaired and sent back to me. The longest RMA I've ever seen.
