I wanted to take a moment to share my honest feedback about our experience at the learning center over the past four months. While I appreciate the effort put into creating a conducive learning environment, there have been some significant challenges that we encountered during our time here.Firstly, there has been a consistent reshuffling of caretakers and teachers. In just these four months, I've noticed a high turnover with around 6 to 8 new individuals handling my child's class. Even at the administrative level, changes have occurred multiple times. This frequent change in staff has created a sense of instability and inconsistency, which has been concerning. Moreover, the regular leaves of caretakers and teachers have added to the disruption in our child's learning routine. It's important for a child's development to have a steady and reliable presence in their educational environment.I must express my disappointment in the handling of active children. Our child, who is naturally active, has struggled in this setting. The caretakers seem ill-equipped to manage and guide active children's behaviors, which has led to an unsatisfactory experience for both our child and us as parents. The statement that the center is not equipped to handle certain behavioral aspects is disheartening and reflects a lack of competence in addressing such issues.Additionally, there was a noticeable change in our child's behavior after the departure of his regular teacher, Evelyn. Negative behaviors, such as hitting other children, emerged, seemingly influenced by the behavior of another child who recently joined. While we brought this concern to your attention during the parent's meeting, we were assured that steps would be taken to address it. However, the faculty subsequently shifted the blame to our child, stating that he was causing harm to others. It is important to note that we made the difficult decision to remove our child from the learning center and have since enrolled him elsewhere. In this new environment, we have not encountered any of the behavioral issues that were raised during his time at your center.I implore you to consider these concerns as opportunities for improvement. While our experience has been disappointing, we hope that our feedback can contribute to creating a more positive and effective learning environment for other children in the future. Children are incredibly impressionable, and the influence of their surroundings cannot be underestimated.

To be fair I do not have my child enrolled at this facility but I did tour it. The facility appeared to be very clean and had a super cute theme with adorable decor. However while there I just got a bad vibe. None of the students I saw there looked happy, the teachers looked miserable and I witnessed one staff member rather roughly changing a child. I will not but enrolling here nor would I recommend it.

We enrolled our toddler at The Learning Experience this past December after a series of several unexpected incidents at our previous daycare. We've been extremely happy with our decision! The staff's positive energy is contagious and they address everything, even disciplinary issues with a positive attitude. Our little one has a speech delay and his teachers have been so patient in working with him, he now picks up new words every week and recently began counting on his fingers. The best part of the few short months that we've been a part of this program is that our child likes to go to school again and it is clear that he enjoys his time there. We highly recommend The Learning Experience!

I must say aesthetically this daycare looks amazing. It however, may be symbolic of their business practices as well, things look and sound great, whereas execution falls short. I chose this daycare for my son due to the warm and welcoming environment it presented. Another major daycare chain in the area was a fraction cheaper, but the lady appeared less than enthused at the prospect of my son attending, hence my choice of the Learning Experience. Initially, and perhaps erroneously, I ignored the discrepancy in the final cost there would be biweekly, for my son to attend half a day. I was told there would be no extra charge in the event my son needed to attend the full day as well, on the days where his school was not in session. Recently, they've apparently had an uptick in business, and so that agreement has been disregarded due to capacity issues apparently. The day my son needed to attend a full day, I was informed the day it occurred, rather than in advance, that I would incur an extra charge, despite what was specifically said before. I did receive an apology for the lack of communication and a reduced charge, but this wasn't the agreement at all. More problematic is the fact that we've been on vacation out of state this past week (which charges still apply despite his absence) and unfortunately this upcoming week, his school is on spring break, so he will need to attend the full day all week. This will result in an extra $200 charge on top of the biweekly rate we already pay that equates to car note and collectively a mortgage by the end of each month, though he will have only been present one week out of the two week period. Logically, the hours he wasn't there the previous week, evens out the fact that he's there additional time this week.Needless to say, I may have further weighed my options if all this had been revealed prior to enrollment, and I of course don't have the luxury of abruptly ending this business arrangement and randomly entrusting my son to another stranger. The Director of this site is vivacious, bright, charismatic, and enthusiastic, so none of this is personal. This is simply for the advisement of fellow parents looking for childcare arrangements. I believe it's only fair that businesses be held accountable for the customer's experience, particularly as they seek to grow and add to their business.

All staff are involved with the parents and welcoming. I previously had my child in another daycare before enrolling him into TLE and the difference is MAJOR. Over the slightest incident they keep you aware. The teachers are great communicators and my kid loves it there! To say that my child gets excited to go to his school is enough reassurance that they are doing great things.

Our son has been going there since it opened and we couldnt be happier. The school is clean, the staff is friendly, and we dont have any complaints. Our daughter started there at 15 months crawling and within 1 week in school she was walking with the rest of the kids. April does a great job running the school and I would recommend the Learning Experience Wheeling to anyone.

My child's been attending almost since they opened. Everything here is state-of-the-art and STEM-oriented. The teachers and the center director are open, friendly, kind and give valuable feedback. They have an excellent curriculum and tons of fun (extra-curricular) activities. We love it here!

We were searching for care for our one-year-old (at the time). Being that this our first child going to day care for first time, and it was the middle of a pandemic, our expectations were high. After searching and touring many other daycares, we came upon TLE. This brand-new learning academy had everything we were looking for: early education, enrichment programs, safety, and FUN. It wasn’t until we had the chance to meet with April that we just knew this was the place for our little one to thrive. My daughter, now 3, has achieved milestones far beyond our expectations. Her verbal, cognitive, and social skills are outstanding. We have seen ourselves, the dedication that all the teachers have for our children’s success. TLE is an extension of home, putting emphasis on the importance of our child’s happiness, success, and exposure to learning and diversity. This is truly the best first step to take for your child’s bright future. We love TLE- Wheeling!

We are forever grateful to LE in Wheeling for how great they have been with our son. Our family had a traumatic experience with our son's prior daycare and we were nervous to send him to one again. However, from the start of our tour until now a few weeks since he began at LE in Wheeling, we have had a positive experience. The staff and teachers a great at communicating with us daily, truly care about the kids and are transparent about everything happening within their daycare. They take a lot of safety precautions and keep the place very clean. They are conscientious of our son's food allergies. Our son wasn't himself for the 2 weeks following his experience at the prior daycare but in just 1 week at LE in Wheeling and everyone has noticed that he is a brand new kid. Whenever we pick him up, he looks so happy, cries when we are pulling out of the parking lot because he doesn't want to leave, comes home talking a lot more and even following instructions and obeying the rules we enforce at home. We credit this to their patience with the kids as well as experience and knowledge in childcare. We would recommend to everyone that they send their child here. You will not regret it.

My son was one of the first students here. He had made such huge improvements in his verbal and social skills since starting. All the teachers are friendly and easy to talk to. April is the most welcoming and nicest person you will ever meet. We have enrolled our daughter recently as well. Again, seeing her hit huge milestones. I recommend this daycare to all

My 3year old daughter has been attending TLE Wheeling for over a year and she absolutely loves it! This is truly her home away from home. April and Jamie do an amazing job with the hiring and training of the teachers, because all of them (not just the ones in my daughter's classroom) are kind, friendly and truly awesome to the children there!I always recommend this place to all of my friends who are looking for great daycare for their kids. When dropping off you child at TLE wheeling, You know you are dropping off your little one in the hands of people who care for that child!

I love this place! We came from a bad daycare and I felt a relieve after the first month of leaving my son! My son is happy and excited when I drop him off and same when I pick him up. When there is an illness going around the daycare, the stuff are on it! Miss April is amazing! She has been welcoming since the beginning and helping in any way possible! God bless her and the stuff! When I have concerns they are taken cared of. The stuff here cares of my son’s development. I couldn’t be happier!
