Absolute dumpster fire, HORRIBLE, doesn't care the tiniest smidge about their tenants. If you care about your health do not live here.

Andrea the property manager is the best one I’ve ever had. She is very helpful with any issues and takes care of them immediately when needed. Her team in office are also on top of all issues and they’re all so nice. They make it a very nice place to live.

I love this place and recommend for everyone who looking for a newer home. They always help us if we have any problems with AC even if you will ask to fix it at 11 pm. All stuff are very friendly. I referred my friend over to their community and they are absolutely happy. I found there a lot of new friends.Apartments have a high ceilings, new cabins, floor and washer and dryer machines inside in your apartment ( which rarely happens in other apartments that I considered ). Also this community near huge park, great restaurants and movie theater. I’m in love with this place ?

BE WARNED. Most rude leasing staff I’ve ever experienced in my life. They are very smug with their responses and seem to be happy when you are upset about their performance. If you move here take pictures of all damage before you move in because they WILL charge you for things you did not break on the back on if your lease. And they will be happy when you’re upset about it.I’m sure they will copy and paste a response to this review with a smug “I’m sorry about your experience here at Northgate” but it doesn’t change how unprofessional and impolite they are.

BE CAREFUL We rented a garage that had damage to the doors track but still worked. Even the maintenance guy looked at it and said it was fine. Unfortunately did not take pictures. 1 week after moving out they send me a fine for an inoperable garage door.

Our refrigerator wasn’t working and we called and put in a work order. They came a few days later to change the setting on the fridge and told us to wait a day. That didn’t work so we put in another work order. They came two days later again and tried changing the settings again. That didn’t work yet again. After over a week, they wanted to come again and change the settings. I demanded that they check out the mechanics of the fridge and when they finally did, they found out that there was condensation causing the fridge to not work. But they would come back the next day to fix the reason of the condensation. After waiting three days, we had to yet call again. They finally recommended exchanging the fridge with a fridge from a vacant apartment. After three weeks they finally switched the fridge. We had to throw away $330 in food in those three weeks and when asking for some consideration, they said call our renters insurance agency because they aren’t going to do anything about reducing rent in anyway. This wasn’t a problem we created or they caused, but their response time and lack of help caused the delay which caused us to lose that much money. They dealt with the situation very poorly and gave us the impression that they don’t care about their tenants. That’s nice to know as someone who pays for luxury living but gets subpar management. And before you reply with “please reach out so discuss how we can be better…” we already did. Twice, and we were ignored for a week. We even got to the regional manager Wesley Hard who also was unprofessional in his demeanor and replies when he finally did reply. Horrible management from top to bottom. Terrible customer service and simple solutions are always against your “policies”

After owning a condo then house for 20 years, I was skeptical about renting. After many disappointing viewings in Arlington Heights, I was delighted when I found Northgate Crossing. It felt just like a condo , and felt like home instantly. The staff in the leasing office are extremely professional and attentive to any questions or requests. They reply within 24 hours ,,,,consistently. The maintenance staff is also super friendly and helpful, and take care of any issues right away. I was worried about outside open parking during the winter, but the snow crew kept everything so clean and safe I was delighted.I just signed another lease, and could not be happier. Thanks Northgate Crossing!!!!

Management is quick to throw things back on the tenant. Their response is quick but rarely do they go the extra mile to help. Most replies are "we are sorry but". They have a revolving door of management staff and are quite lazy when it comes to rally hearing the tenant. Nice community, clean but management lacks in many way's

John R. is exemplary! He is courteous, got the job done in a minimal amount of time and cleaned up after himself.I was on the phone working when the job was completed, and he was quiet and even remembered to lock my front door when he left.Northgate Crossing is fortunate to have a man of John's knowledge and courteousness on their maintenance team.

I have lived at Northgate Crossing Apartments a little over a year. My experience has been more than great. They have a friendly, and professional managment team. Very prompt and experienced maintenance crew. I love the fresh smell in the halls and elevators once a week. Summer is beautiful with the very colorful array of flowers and fresh cut grass. Im always hungry so the special grill outs and pizza/ beer nights are a plus.It is pet friendly and very clean. I would consider Northgate Crossing my #1 apartment experience. I recommend it to everyone I know.

We are fairly new tenants. We moved here after living in a house for 20 years. We are very happy with our choice. The only drawback is the dog barking. After complaining to management, the response was that new dogs may take time to get used to a new home. While I understand that thought, with the constant barking at all times of the day and night makes me wonder if the owner is absent most of the time.

We have been here for three plus months. Having lived in a house for the last 20 years, we are very pleased with our choice. The only negative comment has to do with barking dogs. One in particular that barks at all hours of the day or night. It is not noticeable if you have the TV or music playing. But if you want to enjoy some quiet time or open a window, you can clearly hear the dog barking. Managements answer to our complaint was to say it takes some time for a dog to get accustomed to a new place. While that may be true, the owner must not be present very much, or they would be bothered by the continuous barking as well. We are very pleased with our choice. We also realize nothing is perfect, so we deal with the dog barking.
