“This review is for my husband’s recent move of his law firm from the Lakeview, Chicago area to Wilmette. Alliance was great from the beginning with friendly and professional personnel and providing a crew of five guys that worked 10.5 hours on the date of the move. There was not only an abundance of furniture including desks that had to be disassembled for the move and the reassembled at the new office and many 4 and 5 drawer lateral files, computer equipment that they carefully packed, a big copier but also hundreds of boxes that were pre-packed. All of the workers were so accommodating with the placement and movement of furniture in the new office. We would not hesitate to recommend Alliance to anyone who wants/needs reliable, efficient, trustworthy and good natured commercial movers.”

In this age of horrible customer service, it's refreshing when you call a business, the owner picks up straightaway, and you can quickly schedule something or get questions answered. That was our experience with UNITS. Also the machine they use to move the pod is cool. I'd definitely recommend using UNITS over using a self storage place you have to drive to. The price is similar, and you only have to load and unload your stuff once.”

“This hopes to be the most deserved love letter a long standing and endlessly devoted customer could write. There aren't enough stars available.
My relationship with First Class Moving and Storage goes back decades. With No other connection to anyone at the company other than being the world's most grateful client to have found them. I have used them for multiple moves, complicated divisions between multiple locations and storage in the same moves and even a no notice emergency move for ill family members. I have been present for some and absent but left color coded notes with tips and beverages for them for others. Every time has been flawless and a deep sigh of relief. The crews are wizards at combining efficiency and speed with the most careful packing, wrapping, carrying and moving of anything from big furniture to more fragile, small or antique pieces. They are polite, friendly (such great people!) and we really don't realize how amazing moving can be until it is done exceptionally well. When my things have come out of their clean and climate controlled storage, a year plus later, they are all as good as when they went in. I have never had even a hint of a disappointment or any problem whatsoever with any of their services. They continually exceeded my expectations even after I got use to their flawless service.
I am privileged to say I have built a relationship (beloved and trust kind- no compensation or financial benefit) with them and if this doesn't tell you how great a company it is, the staff is the same, decades later. Heidy at the helm of coordinating everything is a human unmatched. She is truly an angel and makes dealing with these stressful tasks an actual joy. No joke. She is an exceptional person in what she does and how she does it.
I don't remember the year of my first move with them- best guess is early 2000's. I've used them at least a half dozen times personally (often with the same crew) and referred more people than I can count. Not one friend or referral I have sent their way has ever had less than the BEST experience. I now live far away and had to call and consult on some odd moving questions for a few things back in Chicago. Heidy dazzled me as much as ever. And helped me above and beyond.
Look, it's moving, it's stressful and overwhelming physically. We hire people bc most of us can't fathom doing it ourselves. It's often expensive and involves transporting all of our personal possessions. This is not the time to find the cheapest quote or not care who gets it done and how it gets done. I've heard horror stories from friends who used various other movers. First Class is more than worth their services in gold and they all work to make it the least stressful and most positive experience it can be. Be good to the crews, tip and pat yourself on the back for finding the best movers you could find! They are worth every dime and then some.”

Nothing inside my UPack was broken when it arrived in Florida! delivery and pick up in Florida was a little later on their time but they always stayed in communication with me and made sure I was OK with a change in time.
