Where do I even start? About a month ago, I took my car to Dick's Body Shop because they were conveniently close and had availability. This was my first time navigating an insurance claim, and I thought I was making a smart choice. The work was supposed to be done by Monday, but as Monday approached 4 PM, I realized I hadn’t heard from them. I had to call to check if my car was ready or if I needed to keep my rental longer.
When I finally got in touch, the gentleman at the front desk told me to ignore the updates on the app and just wait for a call. I had specifically requested a heads-up the morning of pickup so I could adjust my work schedule. Fast forward to Wednesday at 5 PM—30 minutes before closing—and I received a call saying my car was ready.
Upon arriving to pick up my car, I was surprised to see numerous imperfections on the paint; it looked poorly done. When I pointed this out, the front desk clerk mentioned they had discovered pre-existing damage on the bumper that wouldn’t be covered by insurance. Not once was I informed that my car would have such blemishes. The explanation I received was that the imperfections resulted from blending, and adding clear coat amplified the problems. My vehicle was hit on the front left, and they didn’t even bothered blending into half of the bumper. There were paint runs, and paint blemishes caused by not properly tapping the surface.
To top it all off, when I reviewed the labor breakdown, they claimed they removed the bumper to perform the repair. I honestly believed they did the work with the bumper still on, yet they still charged the insurance for extra labor.
The least I expected was a simple call to inform me of the situation, which could have easily been handled—even if I had to cough up some cash out of pocket.
In summary, the communication was horrible , and the craftsmanship was even worse. It’s clear that there’s no love for the trade at Dick's Auto Body. I sincerely hope this review saves others from making the same mistake I did. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere!

Quick and great experience. Identified the issue within seconds and was able to take care of immediately so I could get back on the road. Fortunate to have pulled into their lot this morning by chance. Highly recommend their services.

My fiancé and I just stopped for gas for our long road trip when we noticed there was a huge piece of plastic hanging down and dragging. Next door was Dick’s Auto Body Shop! Out of whim we drove over and explained our situation, we did not catch the name of the nice gentleman at the desk, but no questions asked, he put our car up and fixed it for us. We only lost 15 minutes to our road trip! We were so grateful for their services, we are recommending them from now on! Thank you so much again!
