“I was staying the weekend in Wheeling and had a breakdown Monday morning as I was heading back home to Minnesota. I found Rick's which was just down the street from our hotel. I talked to Jason and explained what I heard and made it over safely over to drop it off. He had cars up on the racks and said he would work hard to get to my truck quickly. He finished up the other jobs and got a diagnosis. He nailed down the problem to a bad wheel bearing hub and placed the parts order right away but delivery would take overnight. He made getting my repair done a priority the following morning and we were back on the road by noon.
Knowledge. Expertise. Professionalism. Customer care. Yes, Jason worked on my car, but cared about who I was, my story at that moment, and my safety and well-being. I am mechanically adept and like to complete my own maintenance and repairs so I see the work being done. I visit the northern suburbs at different times throughout the year and Rick's and Jason are where I will go for anything automotive. Please be sure you consider their shop first. You will be as thankful as I am you did.

“Gene's Village Towing is amazing!! Yesterday one of our company driver got stuck on a side of the road. He had no idea where he was, but after describing his location to me and the dispatcher over the phone, he was able to send the tow driver to our guy very quickly. The tow truck driver is probably the nicest guy I have ever met. The truck was still running and was locked up, which meant it could not be turned off. It was smoking badly and leaking some fluid, so obviously the driver was hesitant to put it on his truck for fear it could catch fire. Most drivers would have said sorry I can't help you, but not this guy, he tried a couple different ways to disable the leak and finally got it fixed, then just picked the truck and delivered to the closest dealer. Gene's Village Towing, you have some pretty great people working for you! Anytime someone needs a tow, I will hands down be recommending this place! Thank you again for a great experience!!!”
“Bobby was excellent to work with. Very responsive and resourceful throughout my experience. He helped me organize everything from the loan application, which rebate to choose, the best way to go about accessories, and even helped me understand the best ways to ship the vehicle to California. He was also very generous enough to video chat to show me the truck when it arrived and even took extensive photos/videos for me before being loaded. He even negotiated with the driver to put my vehicle right behind the cab, so it had less chance of getting hit by rocks or other debris. You would be crazy not to work with these folks. Midwestern hospitality at its finest!”
