Wheaton Mulch is unbeatable: superior quality mulch, fair prices, helpful website, friendly office staff, on-time drivers, excellent customer service. Simply excellent! Here's our story to prove it. Our back yard is one big perennial garden, so our standard order is 10 cubic yards of mulch. This year the delivery got messed up. What we ordered was 10 cubic yards of triple ground mulch mixed with compost. The Wheaton Mulch truck backed down the driveway at 7 a.m. and began dumping mulch - half brown, half black. We questioned the driver since the mulch and compost was supposed to come "mixed." The driver called in the question. Within minutes the Wheaton Mulch owner (Scott) called to say there had been a mistake. What we got was 10 cubic yards of double-ground mulch plus 10 cubic yards of triple ground mixed with compost. Scott asked what we wanted to do. The solution Scott suggested, which was more than fair to us as the customer, ensured our lifelong loyalty to Wheaton Mulch. By the way, I live in Wheaton--not San Francisco.

We moved into our house about 1.5 years ago, but since I was pregnant all of last year the beautiful landscaping we inherited was sorely neglected and stripped of nearly all its mulch. We are determined to get everything back in order but had no idea how much mulch we were going to need; lucky for us we were in EXCELLENT hands with Wheaton Mulch. Turns out the 7 cubic yards from our initial order wasn't even close to what we will need, and Wheaton Mulch didn't bat an eye about bringing a second truckload not even a few hours after their first delivery. The woman at the front desk (I'm afraid I didn't get her name!) was an absolute joy to talk with, and her customer service alone made us lifelong customers. The mulch and compost quality appears excellent. I love the way the black mulch makes our landscaping really pop. We will be getting another truckload in the near future to (hopefully) finish off our landscaping for this year - and we will be back every year from now on! Thank you Wheaton Mulch!

I ordered gravel last fall and yesterday ordered 8 yards of playmat mulch. The quality of the mulch was better than I expected, and they even delivered it the same day! I appreciate the clear pricing per yard and delivery fees online as well. I will definitely be using their services again!
