“Hello Fez and especially you Dave.Jerry of the Chicago Ball Busters,which are friends of ours from Lombard and the Back to the '50s St. Paul car shows said I should look you all up to finish fixing up "Grumpy's Ride". Well I broke it bad and it had to be rent back and rewelded back together.Dave did a great job on realigning back where it should have been and corrected the front end ride height so I could put a jack under it once more AS WE WAITED.That alone was a miricle in more ways than one especially after I couldn't even find anyone to look at it both before and after the front end repairs were made.Now Grumpy's Ride is better than it ever was way back in 2009 when we first got it.Both Mrs. and Mr. Grumpy want to thank Jerry and everyone at Stan's Service,especially Dave that Jerry said I should talk to,for bringing our only toy we have left to have fun with in our old age.We were treated so nice by all on you and we will never forget this.John "Grumpy" and Elaine "Snow White".”

“We drive from Lockport to Beard Auto Repair because they are the only mechanics we can trust. After being taken advantage of by every other local auto repair shop, Beard is the best thing to happen to us as vehicle owners. They only fix what needs to be fixed unless you ask them to fix more. You have no idea how great it is to get a call saying no charge because nothing needs repair at this time. “These guys are amazing! I was in town from Minneapolis to visit family and friends and work and ended up with a dead battery Friday afternoon on a 2020 car. I called K's on a friend's recommendation and spoke to Joe. Phones were ringing off the hook and they were fully booked but once I explained my situation he said "Go ahead and bring it in and we'll test your battery". I got a jump and hurried over. They had my car in to test within 10 min and battery replace in 30 minutes and sent me on my way, despite having more business than they could handle. Joe and Jonathan rock! “I needed a specific make/model tire to match the other three on the car. Sebastian informed me the did not have the tire in stock, but the warehouse did and they could have it by 2pm. I needed the completed tire to me by 6pm. I said go ahead. The tire arrived at 2, I had it install and in my trunk by 3. We made the deadline, and the price was competitive with others that wanted me to wait 3 business days for the same product. Thanks Sebastian, you did great. Certainly will look to Cassidy for future needs.”

“Our Transmission was slipping and had become unsafe to drive, we stretched it out as long as we could knowing we might have to throw down 3 - $4000 for a new one. Dropped it off thinking it would be a week before we saw it again. Much to our surprise recieved a call that afternoon that it was finished! And just under $1000!!! I'm sure another shop would have just sold it as a total rebuild or replacement but because these guys are honest committed to their work they see things others will overlook. Thanks guys so much!”

“Domenick and John are standup guys. I brought my 65 Barracuda to them thinking the automatic trans was toast. They had the guy who specializes in older cars check the car out. Upon returning to pick the car up Domenick explained to me that they could not properly diagnose the trans problem accurately because the previous owner I bought the car from boogered up the Lokar kickdown cable. It was hooked to the trans correctly but the carb hookup was done wrong and the cable did not work. Turned out part of the problem was the carb was the wrong type. Domenick actually showed me how this kickdown cable should operate and showed me why it didn't work. After getting the car home I fabbed up a linkage extension, hooked the cable up, made a couple of adjustments, and the trans works. Went in with terrible forward gears to hooking this cable up and now having great forward gears and passing kickdown. So...I did not need the trans after all. This could have been a costly repair but Domenick took the time to explain the problem to me at no charge and my fab work cost about 3 bucks. How many trans shops would have just tossed a new trans in the car, no explanation until the new trans didn't work right and charge more for the stuff I did. The guys at Affordable are honest and helpful guys who run and honest business. If you need your car worked on this is the place to go and these are the guys you want working on your car. Thank you guys, you are awesome!@”
