Holland helped me purchase my very first home a few years ago and truly made the process so seamless and simple. He broke things down and patiently explained each step to me knowing it was my first time buying. Fast forward to this month where he helped me close on my first home too!! He helped navigate me through every little issue and had a solution for every problem I had. He is such a calm, patient, kind, and purposeful individual and I'm honestly so grateful to have been able to find someone like him. His work speaks for itself, but it has been so comforting knowing that the human I'm working with is truly just a good-hearted person who only has your best interests in mind--that's who Holland is. My husband and I closed on our home in Geneva, IL last Friday! We are so grateful and pleased with our experience working with Southwestern Real Estate. Our realtor, Ryan Sjostrom, went above and beyond our expectations.This was our first time purchasing a house and with the crazy Chicago suburbs market right now, we needed all of the guidance we could get. Ryan was patient with our questions and responsive to our texts, e-mails, and showing requests. He was not only a mentor throughout the process, but also a friend. We look forward to continuing our friendship/working with him in the future, but for now, we are excited to make memories in our new home!We highly recommend Ryan Sjostrom and the team at Southwestern Real Estate!

Holland is seriously the best real estate agent and we would highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for someone who's professional and super kind! He is extremely thorough when he works with you. He spent multiple meetings getting to know our situation and walk us through the process every step of the way. Even though it was our second time buying, we had a million questions and Holland took his time answering all our questions and made sure we were confident. He is also really quick to respond and understands the demand in the market and makes himself available when needed. He provided and recommended our lender, inspector, attorney and insurance company.. all of which were reputable and trusted professionals. Every single one did such a great job. As we walked through the homes, he gave us advice on what to look for and potential red flags we should be aware of but always respected us to make sure the decision was ours. He dedicated his time and heart to us and we are so thankful to have worked with him. We got so lucky and actually bought a house during this crazy market (we closed on our home today)! Thank you Holland for everything! We appreciate you and will definitely work with you to sell our condo.

Don Hampton was our agent at Southwestern, and he was fantastic. We had a number of issues that came up with selling our old home and buying our new one, and he was really quick to respond to our concerns and to help us get matters resolved.

It wastes time to work with them. When i have to call them three time to make appointment for the house's tour, and wait couple day to hear respond from the one message. Jessica W De Vries and her guys' name: CHRIS KEW is very horrible to work with. When Chris took me to the house, he even did not want to show me anything until i asked the question. He seemed like he did not care If i buy it or not. The when i give the offer, and he ignore me 2 days. Then he said somebody already bought it. It is very hard to see the house you like and he is my agent but het does not care about his clients at all. I feel so disappointed about the service. I do not get any information i need for whole process and then finally i can not buy the house i want because the agent company does not give me any information and lose the contact with the house's owner. You do not work with then because it just really waste time and no result!

Jessica DeVries with Southwestern came highly recommended, and she did not disappoint!! She was so helpful and patient with us every step of the way, and always made herself available to answer our (many) questions. She is so knowledgeable about the whole process and can make incredible recommendations to you for almost any service you might need during that time. We are so incredibly thankful to her for helping us find our DREAM home!! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone looking to buy or sell. :)

Just want to give a shout out to Jessica DeVries for being a caring professional in so many ways. I was thinking I was going to relocate this summer and called her- just from an online search. I really lucked out because she was so nice, helpful, and professionally strategic every step of the way from her accurate market analysis to her suggestions of what I needed to do to make my place picture perfect. This review is for Jessica Wilson DeVries at Southwestern:My husband and I found Jessica about a year ago through Yelp and other online reviews and I couldn't have been happier with such an important decision in the stressful home buying process.She is what you would expect a good realtor to be: responsive, knowledgeable, a good communicator and teacher. However, she really goes above and beyond in the small details that help the process be as pain free as possible. She really did so much extra to make sure my husband and I ended up with our dream home.She went to countless showings and five inspections for us. She prepared numerous offer letters and finagled many issues with sellers on our behalf. She kept us updated on any changes or obstacles that came up. She referred us to quality professionals to help with inspection, mortgage, and legal matters. She is kind and smart and enthusiastic and understanding. She kept with us when we decided to move our location farther and farther away from her office and was eager and able to meet us in a short notice an hour away from her office. Many times. In rush hour. And construction traffic.You can't go wrong deciding on Jessica. She has been such a blessing in this process. I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a house or anyone interested in learning about the process.

Holland made the whole process of looking for a new home so great and enjoyable. We are first time home owners and had an amazing experience. He was very professional and had our best interests in mind at all times! When walking through the homes he always pointed out pros and cons and gave us great advice. I even learned a lot from him because he was able to always answer our random questions. We now live in a great home that fits all of our needs. Holland Hames is the REAL DEAL. When we bought our first condo, he was very knowledgeable, helpful and had a great attitude. We loved him so much that by the time we sold that same condo, we contacted him to sell it. We wanted to give our business to him again! The second time around, Holland negotiated an amazing sale for us, got us plenty of offer options, and was even found hanging doors in our house that needed hanging. He is the best and I would gladly refer anyone to him (and have). We sold our house quickly and for a great profit. If you're looking for someone who works with honesty and integrity while also being damn good at his job- call Holland.

As a first time homeowner, Holland was everything we could've asked for in a real estate agent and more! He was incredibly helpful and supportive, always available no matter when we had a question. His experience, knowledge, and professional network made a potentially painful and difficult process as easy as we could've hoped. As anyone who's worked with Holland will tell you, you really feel like he's got your back, and, especially during negotiations, it's a huge comfort to know he's going to go and bat for you.
