Cindy is AMAZING!! She is very knowledgeable and super friendly! My hair was dry, dead, and full of split ends. I walked out with product she recommended to continue to help my hair reach a silky, healthy state. I haven’t had such a great experience in forever. Cindy is the one you want to book with!

If I could give them 10 stars I would! I have had my hair messed up by various salons like Zano’s, Zazu, Frank Gironda and Nikki moon hair salons. I was going to Ulta and it was pretty good but bad availability and I wanted to venture out and try a place that wasn’t a franchise and I’m so glad I did. I found Marek Ashley salon on Google and it had the best reviews. I called right away to book for hair cut and color and I did have a few questions and the receptionist was so nice and she took her time to listen to what I was looking for and she booked me with Cindy for the next day and getting in soon was so great! When I arrived at the location on Liberty street in Wheaton. It was a little hard to find but when I did and went inside it was gorgeous inside. Beautiful set up, clean and welcoming. Ron greeted me and was so nice and very easy on the eyes. After he checked me in, he asked if I wanted coffee so I asked what they have and they have it all! So I got a latte and later got tea. I met Cindy right away who has 25yrs of experience styling and coloring hair. She listened and was very knowledgeable and I showed her pictures (always have pictures, also remember your hair is not the same kind as in the picture so don’t ever expect that!) Anyway, she got everything right! From my main color to the highlights to the haircut. Spot on and I loved talking to her and felt like I met my new best friend and I will be coming back for sure! Thank you Marek Salon, especially Cindy and Ron for the phenomenal experience. Btw they have a rewards program which I love! Pictures below!

Carmen was great. She did a keratin treatment and my hair feels moisturized and shiny. The salon is clean, staff is friendly and stylists are super knowledgeable

Had a great experience with Katya cutting my curly hair (3a/b, regular cut bc I wear straight as well). Very professional, listened to what I was looking for. Afterward curls weren't quite curling like they used to and she quickly fixed, which was much appreciated. I'd def come back!

KT is an amazing stylist. I have had her cut my hair a few times and she listens to my ideas but also makes great suggestions. The salon seems busy but I’ve always been able to get an appointment on the day I wanted.Services: Updos

Marek Ashley purchased my previous salon in Wheaton which I didn't realize until I called to make an appt with my favorite stylist. What a complete disappointment :( Receptionist on the phone was rude and told me they had no openings for the next 3 months, which turned out to be false. When I arrived at the salon the same person was very cold and unwelcoming. My biggest disappointment was when I got the bill which reflected a 30% increase from my last visit. There is no reason for this other than greed. This is a suburban salon in an office park next to the train tracks not some high rent place in the city. New owners obviously are making a money grab. Will not return and do not recommend.NOTE: Macy is wonderful and did not overcharge me!! The staff MADE IT VERY CLEAR that the new owner changed the pricing. Shame on you for trying to pass the blame onto an employee.Service: Hair highlighting

I got my hair done by LJ and she was amazing! I had hip length hair and I wanted to chop off about 12 inches to get a wolf cut with curtain bangs. LJ was extremely knowledgeable and walked me through what I would need to do to maintain the cut. My hair came out exactly what I wanted. The salon is very nice, and everyone was extremely friendly and professional. I cannot wait to come back.
