Radon Testers did an incredible job making time for a radon test during a home inspection I had, it was a very last minute request ahead of the Christmas holiday. I really appreciate how hard they worked to get the test done and the responsiveness of their customer service throughout the entire process. Radon Testers came out and tested a property that we were under contract for, as part of a larger package we had purchased with an inspections company.Radon Testers worked with us through numerous schedule difficulties created by the seller of the property we had bid on. Radon Testers was flexible, understanding, punctual, professional, and expedient in getting us our test results.They also were able to detect Radon levels in the home accurately, and showed us where the levels were at with regard to the EPA recommended limits.I highly recommend this service, and to Nancy and the whole office staff, thank you for all your help!

As a licensed home inspector I have recommended Radin Ron to clients and Realtors and never been dissapointed. Online scheduling, prompt delivery of testors , wuick and timely set up during the home inspection, prompt pick up, and test reports in hand in a few days. Love wirking with them.

It's a radon test. They come in, drop the equipment off and give you the test a few days later. It's not that difficult and they are at least competent at that. The issue I have with "Radon Ron" is that he seems to think he's doing his customers a favor by providing us with his services. He needs to remember that he is working for us homeowners. For my first inspection I went with Ron based on the recommendation of my inspector. I set the appointment up to coincide with the inspection as I was not in possession of the house yet. The inspection was set for 3pm. Ron had 4 days notice and agreed to be there by 4. As 4 came and went, I had to call Ron, who said he may or may not make it by 4:30 but if he didn't he'd work out his own access with the real estate agent. It seemed a little unprofessional to me but whatever, as long as it got done. As it happened we were there until about 4:45pm and he showed up right at the end. Still, if you are running late and you know people are in the house waiting for you why not call? Getting the results was another challenge from them, they were supposed to call me on the following Monday... that came and went. They did eventually call on Tuesday afternoon to take payment and deliver the report, again not a big deal, but show up when you are supposed to show up and do what you say you are going to do and have a little respect for the people paying your bills. I complained to my inspector and told him about my experience with his recommendation, I did not complain to Ron directly though. Fast forward 6 weeks... after taking possession and getting a mitigation system installed (by the way, I highly recommend American Radon Systems of Tinley Park), I need to be retested... I call Ron again since he offers a discount to repeat customers ($25). I called on a Thursday and set the test up for Monday afternoon. Sarah called on Sunday to see if 4:30 to 5:00 would work. I agreed but stressed that it could be no earlier than 4:30pm as we had appointments from 2-4:30. She agreed and said it would "definitely" be in the 4:30-5 window. Monday at 4:50pm I get a call from "Radon Ron" informing me that he was at my house at 4pm but no one was home. I explained that I was VERY clear to Sarah about it not being before 4:30. He said she didn't say anything about that to him. I then informed him that he almost missed his last appointment with me as well and I wanted to understand why he had so many scheduling issues. He asked me for the details about my first experience and after he recalled it he said "well we made it then with 5 minutes to spare, that sounds like a win to me!" "Radon Ron" will not get his extra $125 from me. A monkey could drop the equipment off and email a PDF report to you, so it's not like he won't complete the job for you... but really why do you want to deal with a demeaning, disrespectful business owner when you can go somewhere else, pay the same price and reward someone else for being for appreciative of your business.

We worked with Sarah at Radon Testers, Inc. She was very responsive to all communication and easy to work with. We needed her out at the property the next morning and Sarah was able to get out there to set up the test. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with this company and would highly recommend them!!
