Amazing experience! I made a plate and Gretchen the owner made it a great experience. She was very responsive, knowledgeable, and thorough with all my questions. I love how the plate turned out, and can’t wait to use it at my daughter’s first birthday. 100% recommend coming here for all your pottery needs!

Gretchen is a sweet and kind person and who is very efficient and fun. She graciously explained the process to us and was there to answer any question we had. She also had a nice selection of pottery to paint with a range of prices. Highly recommend visiting Out on a Whim, great place for all ages.

I did a take-home kit to make my son a birthday plate, and Gretchen was so wonderful! Lots of helpful ideas and recommendations, and she communicated frequently throughout the process. Definitely looking for an excuse to do another kit!
