I used to have this guy as my insurance agent. I was rear-end by an old lady and a police officer witnessed the accident and wrote her a ticket.
Shortly thereafter State Farm called and told me that they had determined that I was at fault because I was driving too fast. I asked how they knew how fast I was driving and how it was possible that if I was driving too fast, it was my fault she was driving even faster and rear-ended me. No comment. It’s just your fault.
So I went to Mark Prutzman’s office to ask him how I was responsible for being rear-end. He repeated the line that I was driving too fast. I asked him how he could possibly know how fast I was driving since it wasn’t in the police report.
He then said that the old lady’s ticket was dropped therefore the accident was my fault. How, I asked. At this point he started yelling, threatening and swearing at me. I left his office and he followed me outside to my car, continuing to yell obscenities at me.
I went home, got auto insurance from USAA and canceled my State Farm insurance.

Worst agent ever. We have done way more work than mark ever has for us in the 20+ years we have had him for an agent. I’ve been with state farm for 45 years and my other agent was not like that at all!!!!! Do yourself a favor and move on!

Got no compassion filing a claim after a death in the family. Mark is incredibly unprofessional in his ways of working, would not recommend.

This agent is terrible do not work with him. He tried to get my dad not to file a claim when it needed to be done. Like a used care salesman but an insurance agent.

This man has no idea what he's doing and then blames it on corporate. He and his office have been harassing me for months now and then has the audacity to tell me I have no idea what I'm talking about when I finally get upset about them setting up a new policy for me, on a car I don't own, without any permission.Need to be able to rate 0 stars, but will afford 1 for the very nice, very polite and considerate receptionist.

Mark has been our family insurance agent for many years. My parents then me when I turned 16. My first car loan then coverage for my home. Great friendly staff. Couldnt ask for a better agent!

I would give zero star if I could. Mark is very rude and unprofessional. It’s like he wanna take his anger out on his clients. Don’t ever make the mistake to get a policy in this office.
