I use to like Wheaton’s Mariano’s but today a kid checking me out complained how many groceries I had. “ Oh Wow, that’s a lot!” And just kept commenting which was completely unprofessional. It was 9:40pm, the store did not close until 10pm. My cart was not even that full. No one helped bag. I helped hand stuff to make it easier. Looking at receipt the things on sale did not ring up right. I now have to go back and bring everything back for them to fix their mistakes. Annoyed!!

Lost the glory! Overpriced products that often are placed on sale when they've lost freshness. Also, watch their bakery products!! READ ingredients and know what they are before eating carelessly. The most dangerous ingredients are being well hidden and soon will not even be disclosed. All people are doing is make these stores, doctors, pharmacies and funeral homes rich!

Where is the live band that use to play at the piano here. Also the employees are rude and weird. Last but not least some of the food is gross.

Marianos is by far the most expensive of all the grocery chains. And I find the employees to be rude. Especially one guy in the meat department. We only go here occasionally to get something last min because it’s the closest grocery store to our house.

Wow, Wheaton's Mariano's store has gone downhill. No more listening to the player piano as the chef prepares a selection of meat or fish while you shop. Now, the store has overpriced produce with mold on the shelves (milk & oJ/tea)-so nasty. There were already-eaten food samples (fruit in a Dixie cup) left on the shelf in the bread aisle. Clutter everywhere: large bins full of hot wheels in the middle of the bread aisle and at an end-cap, making it difficult to navigate (walking around the bins & shelves without a cart, let-alone with a shopping cart). Large palates completely Saran wrapped left in the middle of the back aisle by the milk, nobody unloading. At checkout, only 1 person working a register. With 3 workers standing around the self-checkout; lines of customers waiting to check out. When my husband and I got to a self-checkout, the screen had something dripping down it and dirt/debris all around the floor.Happy to be out of there, wash my hands with zero plans to shop there any time soon. Yuck :(

Wheaton Mariano's is one of my favorite grocery stores. It has a huge selection of high quality foods, drinks, greeting cards, personal care and Health items, and household products at really good prices. Their app lets you check stock and create a shopping list, and their rewards card lets you accumulate points for discounts on gas. Their staff and managers are always really friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work everyone at Wheaton's Mariano's ??

I am giving this store 4 stars because I worked there part time and the Store Director was friendly and well adjusted. The co workers were friendly and the store was clean and organized. I am now a customer.

Ahh, I have shopped at four competitor stores for curbside pickup and this is by far the worse experience ever. 1. Five items were out of stock. Not one, but five. Like who manages the inventory here? 2. I used a card online to pay. I get to the store not properly dressed for public appearances and AFTER the employees loaded my card, the girl tells me that I HAVE to come into the store to pay because she didnt feel comfortable taking my card to pay? Huh? My card was used on the website like all other stores I shop at. I should have told her to take everything back, but i was already there and so I sauntered in with a sore knee, hip and lower back dressed not to impress. Needless to say, i won't be shopping here again due to poor inventory and a huge inconvenience. Learn from your competitors Mariano's. It's too many around this store to be loyal.

Some products are absurdly overpriced. 69 cents for a single lime is crazy. You really have to pay attention to prices. They also have what looks like a 3-4 tiered sales/savings system where they sometimes label a price with a bright red sticker (I'm not sure if this is even a sale since it doesn't say sale on the sticker. It could just be a deceitful way to grab your eye and make it look like a sale.) Then they have actual sale stickers that say sale, but those require to sign up for their membership card (which is free but still requires a form to fill out.) Then they have online digital code sales where you have to scan the QR code on the sticker price, and load up the web page to redeem the sale. This requires a marianos card, an online account, and the account linked to your membership number. There are so many hoops you have to jump through just to get the max amount of savings. But the biggest hurdle for this coupon method is simply loading the web page because there's no cell service in the store! I've tried 4 separate occasions to use a coupon but it has failed every time. I've gone to the help desk explaining the page won't load, can you just apply the coupon but they said they can't help me and I need to get the page to load. It's becoming a headache trying to keep track of all the different methods of couponsThe point system is completely useless. You save 10 cents per gallon of gas for every 100 dollars spent. But this store doesn't have a gas station so points are wasted.I shop typically within the first few hours they open and they have no cashiers working anymore. It's strictly self checkout. Self checkout is a nice alternative to have, but it should never be the only option for check out. They are charging what feels like premium prices but are offering no where near a premium service

Most everybody here is nice, the selections are good, however, it only takes one employee to ruin a good reputation. Enter Dave the cashier, he is a total A$$Whole, tell the jackarse that when a customer does not understand what a frick'n 'digital coupon' is, help a person out, instead of being rude and continuing to repeat "digital coupon" ad nauseam. Fire him, he will cost you customers.

No cashiers. No help at self check out to get my fruit. Management could step up but they just stand around and talk to people. Produce is running out many empty spots. Poor Management all the way around.

It's a good store with plenty of choices for food and groceries. It often has various sales and digital coupons to be used for products. It is important to apply for their shopping card to stay on top of sales and promotions.

Mediocre kombucha selection and the two rotisserie chickens I bought were blackened and tough, even the dark meat.
