Simple, efficient and gets the job done. I, my family and friends, have been coming to John for years and I like that I can just sit down, upload any documents I need or show to John and just have regular conversation while John shows me my tax return and answers any questions I have.I could do it myself but I prefer to have someone trusted do this for me. Thirty years ago I inherited interest in a limited partnership in an oil firm out west. Realizing filling out tax forms with K-1s was much more involved than W-2s, I turned to John. He's been doing my taxes ever since the IRS seems to change the rules for how to file taxes regarding oil industry income.

Terrible customer service. I've been trying to get in contact with Mr. Pezzullo after multiple failures made by my accountant, and he has been ignoring me.Very disappointed with the lack of accountability being shown for mistakes they made on my 2022 tax return. I provided all of the necessary documentation as soon as possible for them. After them already needing to request late filing, I received notices that I owed the IRS over a thousand dollars, plus late penalties and interest, as well. Turns out they never filed for late submission, so I am now paying for their mistakes for both Federal & State.They seem to be refusing to refund me for the penalties and interest (roughly $400 for the mistakes they made). I have tried contacting them multiple times over the past few months and am being ignored.This feels like a complete lack of professionalism and is absolutely terrible customer service.

My company has been a customer of Jonlyn for 10 years or more. They do payroll, corporate taxes as well as personal taxes for myself and my partner. They have always been helpful, fast and professional. Highly recommended.

My husband and I are very disappointed by the lack of responsibility being shown to us for mistakes they made on our 2017 tax return. We provided all of the necessary documentation for them to prepare our 2017 tax return accurately. Their work resulted in us receiving notices that we owe the IRS thousands of dollars, besides penalties as well. Jonlyn did rewrite the tax return at no charge to us and we paid the IRS the corrected tax amount. Now we have received a notice from the IRS that we owe $193.00 in interest for the loss of "time value" for the additional tax money that they were owed but wasn't paid until a year later. Jonlyn refuses to pay the $193 in interest even though it was because of their mistakes. We paid the taxes we were told to pay to IRS based upon them preparing our taxes which we paid them to do the work. We will not be having them prepare any more tax returns for us. That is a breach of trust and lack of professional responsibility.
