Unexpectedly fantastic! The amount of knowledge the folks at the desk have to offer is phenomenal. The exhibits are so well done. Plenty of interactive so you're not just reading info. Will absolutely be back!

Throughly Throughly enjoyed ourselves. Only cost $5 to park and it was free to tour everywhere. Beautifully landscaped outside. Could climb on the tanks. Can't say enough good things.

Nice experience........
Sign on the museum door says no guns, yet the first display you see is a gun.
Liberal logic makes no sense.

Myself and our group of US Army Career Counselors had the opportunity to be given a guided tour of Cantigny’s museum today. The tour was given by a gentleman named Matt. I have to say, I’ve personally never met someone as knowledgeable as Matt when it comes to the history of the Big Red One! His ability to explain the various exhibits, answer questions, and create a welcoming environment is truly top notch! Thank you again Matt, and all Cantigny staff for what you do and the services you provide!

Exhibit, was a little upset that no mention of Korean War, until lady at desk explained the 1st division was not in Korean War, unless I missed it, might be nice to put that on a sign.

I cannot speak highly enough of the value of this museum. It is extremely inexpensive for the amount you receive. We got there at 1:00 and only walked through half by 2:30 and it closed at 3:00.We could have taken much longer but we started to realize that it was getting close. There is so much good information You literally have to stay at each section for 15 minutes or so to just really grasp the greatness of the sacrifice of these people.I can't wait to go see this again.Any pictures that anyone takes is only a minuscule version of what it's actually like to be in that space. It is completely immersive with war sounds in the background and tanks in front of you and pictures and maps and artifacts.I have two public folders on my Facebook account (RoseAnn Melcarek) that are for Cantigny if you want to see more pictures.

This is a beautiful museum, that honor the 1st infantry division. There are various exhibits, sample of personal items, that the soldiers actually wore. Models of battles and of course tanks, which are also around the entire museum.Throughout the museum, there are also awards to Medal of Honor, recipients biographies of there incredible soldiers. This museum is very moving, beautiful. I deeply respect the services of those, who serve now and have served to protect our PEACE of life.Definitely worth a visit.

So parking was free as we use our military cac cars for entry. This place is great. It's super nice .the exhibits where cool and they had a few interactive simulators that my child enjoyed the tank park is pretty cool and I like how you can actually climb on them to take photos just be cautious. We even took it as far as checking out two of the gardens it was a little cool the day that we went but I would definitely revisit in the summer. As I would love to go down the bird trail they had. They where setting up the lights for the Christmas exhibit " Christmas at Cantigeny" I'm definitely coming back for that after 1 December which is the opening night.

Rating the Park itself is 5 stars but Bertie's Cafeis ok for snacks, beverages and the homemade soup was a 5 star. But the rest of the menu was not worth getting the grilled cheese was a panini type sandwich and the cheese melted over the side burned onto bread so the bread had a burnt taste to it same thing happen to a meat panini that another person had at our table.

Well worth it ?We are visiting this museum every year or two. Exhibits are very realistic, and there's a lot of it . Sound and lighting effects are very carefully selected to get a feeling that you're actually there, back in 20 century, during World War. Parking fee 30$ is reasonable, you can spend the whole day enjoying outdoors too. And don't forget about the real tanks that you can climb on ?
