So the dollar tree advertises as the only place YEAR ROUND that you can purchase air for balloons.... after I waited for a manager she basically called me a liar and said that was dollar general.... rude and showed me that she could do it but just wouldn't because I pointed out that it was on her specific stores site. Disappointed. I just need 6 balloon filled up and I was willing to pay for it and more blooms just to get it done. She also said that she did care if it was for a church. More reason not to do it she stated. I Google it front of her and she said she was sorry... I know. now so does everyone on here.

Customers beware of possibly being cheated out of items in some of the packaging. Experienced buying the Trident Splash gum (Strawberry & Lime) where the packaging states that 15 pieces areinside. However, after chewing 2 pieces at a time, I ended up with an even number of pieces of gum or 14 pieces. I was expecting the last set to be 3 pieces to chew together and it ended up there were an even number of pieces of gum and not odd as expected. This has happened before with the same product bought at a Dollar Tree in Aurora last week. I tried calling Mondelez International on this issue last week but was told something that the product has been sold somewhere else or some other company handles this. I was not able to follow up however I have reported this to Dollar Tree corporate that this could be deceptive over time and over the quantity of the items sold potentially. I cannot speak for all other packaging of this gum if they too may have 14 pieces; however being that this has happened twice leads me to believe it could be insidious deception given how many of these items are potentially sold and over time and how many customers could be affected not noticing that 1 piece of gum could be missing for each potential package sold. Who knows what other products being sold at Dollar Tree could be using this slimflation tactic.Summary: what this may mean is that for every 15 customers who buys this product over time (even if the same customer), the customer(s) is or are getting cheated out of $1.25 as for every package that is supposed to have 15 pieces of gum, only 14 pieces may be inside --missing one piece. However, maybe the company could change the packaging andinstead of stating the misleading 15 pieces in the package, they could change it to 14? maybe? At least the customer will knowwhat to expect and not feel shorted by 1 piece of gum due to error in the packaging statement :) The company or manufacturer could be. a little more honest in its packaging advertisement or the actual quantity of the pieces inside the packaging?

They have a good variety in stock. Most are still $1.25 but they also have items that are more money. The lady cashier is very friendly.

If you are planning to return something you bought from here, please do not shop here! You cannot return things that are open (even if you are unsatisfied with it), and their receipts do not have URL or individual item identification. I did not know this, and management was furious at my questioning their return policy and how it worked. I left the cash register, and management came chasing after me, saying that I had to leave the item I wanted to return up front. I explained that this was my property, I wanted to keep it with me, I had not gone through the return yet, and that I could change my mind as to whether I wanted to return it. Management was upset at me and denied the return because of my “attitude.” The policy and the reason for keeping the item up at the front was not explained to me. I was ignorant, and they treated me horribly (like I was going to steal something from the store). Finally I was told that this is the reason the item is kept up front…now I understand, but there was no grace for my ignorance. I had always enjoyed shopping at this store, but as I have always seen, even if the store has a good product, if the management is bad, people shop somewhere else. I understand company policy has it a certain way for a reason, but I would have appreciated a full explanation before the manager completely denied service to me. She tried to use the example of how Walmart handles returns…however Walmart has a completely different system. They always take returns if the customer is unsatisfied with something, and they have a URL on the receipt, to show that the person is not stealing something else! They are completely different stores! Overall, the manager was rude, please do not shop here to avoid being denied service for being ignorant.

This store is always a mess! When u walkIn the front there's a palate with different products together that make no s nose and shouldn't even be next to each other. Everything fromGood, down inks, bleach etc. aisles always have boxes laying around and u boats are everywhere. I only go there if I have to grab something in a hurry. The only nice person in ther is an African American man. The women are terrible rude!
